It's not always so cut and dry that God wants us to understand everything in the Bible at once. it often takes years of study to understand certain aspects of God's word. This seems to be especially true with end times prophecy. I have found, in life, that my Biblical understanding is always evolving and when a new truth is discovered it is an incredible blessing that strengthens my faith. Proverbs 25 vs 2 says "It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honor of kings to search out a matter". Also, understanding truth depends greatly on our hearts. Jesus said in Matthew 11vs. 25 "I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and revealed them to infants". I believe that if we are too proud or too closed-minded to hear God he will hold us back from understanding His deeper truths.

Hi Mr. Michael of Zion's Hope, the Prophet Joel warned Israel of these future event IN THE DAY OF THE LORD. ''Blow the trumpet in Zion, And sound an alarm in My holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble; For THE DAY OF THE LORD is coming, For it is at hand: A day of darkness and gloominess, A day of clouds and thick darkness, Like the morning clouds spread over the mountains. A people come, great and strong, The like of whom HAS NEVER BEEN; NOR WILL THERE EVER BE ANY SUCH AFTER THEM Even for many successive generations. Joel 2;1-2 predicted that... This Invasion of the ''Northerner'' in Zion (Jerusalem & Israel) happens IN THE COMING DAY OF THE LORD~the like of their armies HAS NEVER BEEN; NOR WILL THERE EVER BE ANY SUCH AFTER THEM which is THE SAME EVENTS occuring IN THE DAY OF THE LORD as the Gog and Magog Invasion of Israel Events in (Ezekiel 38 & 39) which "seems to me'' like it is happening in the SAME TIME OF JACOB'S (ISRAEL''S or ZION'S) TROUBLE or TRIBULATION ''ALAS! (WOE!) For THAT DAY IS GREAT, So that NONE IS LIKE IT: And IT IS THE TIME OF JACOB'S TROUBLE. But he shall be saved out of it'' (Jeremiah 30;7) Compare this with the ''ALAS (WOE) for THE DAY! For THE DAY OF THE LORD is at hand; It shall come as destruction from the Almighty. (Joel 1;15)..... (Joel 1: 10-11) The earth quakes before them, The heavens tremble; The sun and moon grow dark, And the stars diminish their brightness. The Lord gives voice before His army, (The like of whom HAS NEVER BEEN; NOR WILL THERE EVER BE ANY SUCH AFTER THEM verse 2) For His camp is very great; For strong is the One who executes His word. FOR THE DAY OF THE LORD IS GREAT AND VERY TERRIBLE Who can endure it?..... And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: Blood and fire and pillars of smoke. The SUN shall be turned into darkness, And the MOON into blood, BEFORE the COMING of the GREAT AND AWESOME DAY OF THE LORD. And it shall come to pass t hat whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem THERE SHALL BE DELIVERANCE, As the Lord has said, Among the remnant whom the Lord calls. This is confirmed by Jeremiah 30:7 which also foretold ' 'But he (Jacob=Israel=Jerusalem=Mount Zion) SHALL BE SAVED (DELIVERED) OUT OF IT'' that is at the Return of the Lord Jesus Christ to earth AT THE END of THE GREATEST TIME OF THE NATION= ISRAEL'S TROUBLE (Daniel 12:1) or THE GREAT TIME OF JACOB'S TROUBLE or TRIBULATION (Jeremiah 30;7) or THE GREAT AND AWESOME (VERY TERRIBLE) DAY OF THE LORD as Joel predicted and confirmed by many of the Old Testament Prophets for example Zechariah 14. So again the Conundrum (Head-Scatching or Puzzling) Question is ''How can THE GREAT AND AWESOME DAY OF THE LORD be a Lesser TRIBULATION than and ''PREDEDED'' by the GREATEST TRIBULATION, which is UNPRECEDENTED UNTIL THIS TIME, NO, ''NOR EVER SHALL BE'' DAY? (Matthew 24:21-22) How logically thinking can there be TWO GREAT TIMES of UNPRECEDENTED, UNPARALLEL UNTIL THAT TIME...{NO, NOR EVER SHALL BE} TROUBLE/TRIBULATION EVENTS for ZION,JERUSALEM AND ISRAEL,..AND INDEED WORLDWIDE ON ALL NATIONS ON THE WHOLE INHABITATED EARTH unless Both MUST BE the SAME PARALLEL not (DIFFERENT/DISTINCT EVENTS) HAPPENING AT THE SAME TIME..contrary to the Prewrath Rapture View. Don't you think so now? How do you reconciled these ''Oximoron'' (Incongruous, Confusing and Contradictory Verses) when read and studied CLOSELY together which poses a BIG Problem for the recent 30 years old ''Prewrath'' Rapture View''? If you can reconcile these, I would like to listen to it. Or are the ENDTIME charts drawns by Bible Eschatologists, whether Pre-Mid-Post-Partial and Prewrath Rapturists etc. etc so far been misleading and contrary to Scriptures when the Bible Verses are put in paralled positions and are studied comparatively? Thank you and God Bless!

I would agree with you that Ezekiel 38-39, Joel`s and Jerimiah`s Day of the Lord, along with Jacob`s trouble and the Great Tribulation touch on the same timeframe. However I would make a distinction between a general usage of the prophets covering a larger timeframe for the Day of the Lord and a more narrow usage of Jesus, Paul, and John for that Day coming after the tribulation and the trumpets when the Son of Man raptures the believing elect then tramples the winepress of God`s wrath. The last 3 1/2 years are overshadowed by the storm clouds of the Day of the Lord`s wrath on the horizon.

So because of the single letter "s" which makes a word plural, you have assumed a whole new doctrine of construction of a 3rd temple that will be destroyed at some point in the future....that is quite a stretch, don't you think? Remember that Jerusalem city/the temple/the people were destroyed over 3 years via multiple desolations by the Roman armies. We know this from reading Josephus. There is no need to create whole new unsupported doctrine because of a single word that is plural.
