Best soprano sax sound I’ve ever heard - usually hate it, but Andrew sounds great
@raymondtimothyelkurnia18965 жыл бұрын
Yeah, he should play more soprano

I agree, in the wrong hands (and that's almost always) soprano tends to be an awful instrument. But listen to Lucky Thompson or Branford Marsalis play it. Lovely.

Great concept for changing rhythm in the tune...great playing by all and the saxophone tone on both soprano and tenor are what I would call ideal

Sin samba no hay vida! Ok, samba is all about that rhythm & samba rhythm is all about that percussion. Man, that drummer just had to take it all the way to carnaval. I love this band!!!

Andrew is far better on soprano and tenor saxophones than his "limited" expose reveals - comparatively speaking. I have never heard of Evan Knights. He seems to be a very brilliant performer of Organic Real Jazz opulence. I would have liked to hear him on a much longer ad lib - Evan Knights.
