“Inazuma”, in my opinion, is the most outstanding piece in the collection of legacy Yupeng chen left in Genshin

19:05 its the "Photon of Flactuation" Leitmotif .. you can literally hear them on all of genshin's region battle variation theme..they insert it perfectly everytime that its fit to the regions theme but recognizable enough if you listen to it.l carefully.

Not all overworld battle themes have it. But it truly is a sign that it is an ost is a battle theme.

Yeah, 12/8 rhythm. Hoyo-Mix composers (and especially Yu-Peng Chen) like to use it a lot in Genshin OSTs. Also, the first song, Inazuma, has the craziest harmony with a lot of "jazzy" chords. It's the most complex harmony across all Genshin OSTs so far.

Most of Inazuma OST gives me the feelings of saudade, tranquil, lonely, longing, dignity and a little touch of anger, the kind of anger where we're unable to reach something we really desired even though it's so close to our grasp.
