Rhapsodia Roscida and Polumnia Omnia, in that order. One of the most incredible boss themes ive ever heard from a videogame. Highly regarded as Yu-Peng Chens grand opus before he left hoyomix. Other amazing themes: -Symphony of boreal wind and Die Mittsommernacht-Fantasie (germany) -Fontaine region theme and Virelia des marees (France) -Inazuma region theme, Overlord of the Thunderstorm and Thunderings of the Merciless (Japan) -Sumeru region theme, Swirls of the stream and Across Dimming Asterisms (Middle east) The brackets are just for context of the themes region of origin in the game. I could quite honestly list about 59 tracks but these are big standouts for me personally. Im more of a fan of the battle themes but there are also many amazing ambient tracks others can reccomend.

Fun fact! The song Caelestinum Finale Termini uses a typewriter as an instrument
@antmess97894 ай бұрын
Some of the best musical professionals recognize the fact that every sound that enters the ears can be described as music. There's the natural music of nature and the industrial music of mankind. Anything, including typewriters, can be instruments. They only need a musician creative enough to discover the hidden melody within.

"A Storm, A Spire, and a Sanctum" is one of my favorite tracks in the game, and there's a special thing about this one, usually when you engage an enemy the battle theme for that region starts playing, but "A Storm, A Spire, and a Sanctum" is an exception, it keeps playing even in battle
@StormierNik9 ай бұрын
The way you talked about Caelestinum Finale Termini, Dvalin's battle theme, made me realize the picture it paints with the music. With the rapid string work mimicking the harsh winds swirling around, but the vocals are smooth and graceful, no different than the way Dvalin soars with ease through those rapid winds with his massive draconic size and control over said winds. The crescendo at the end lifting to a peak, almost like a screech. The roar of Dvalin before falling with a grand thump as portrayed by the only prominent percussion. The lack of percussion throughout make the melody feel as if its floating, as if all the notes are swirled in a whirlwind before finally being "grounded" by the ending as he falls. Man I have not appreciated that theme enough.

That light percussion you hear in the background of Dvalin's battle theme is actually a typewriter. If you think using a typewriter as percussion is a novel idea, you are in for a treat because that is only the beginning of the uniqueness of this music. Later you will hear the Fibonacci sequence used as a time signiture, a glass ammoniac for the nation of hydro, and a mix of genera. The mash of EDM and traditional Japanese folk is rather interesting.

EDM is my favorite genre of music and even I know this soundtrack is better than most video game soundtracks by several leagues. EDM all the time is boring for a game. It's fun to jam to, but doesn't make a moving game. And HoYoVerse knows that. With so many different cultures and genres of music, from traditional to modern to futuristic (dubstep), this game literally encompasses every single genre currently invented. There is no composer alive that I know of with such talent.

If there's one thing I can assure you, it's that these Genshin music videos are usually very well received, even in the long run, so don't even worry about that. And also that I really like this format of 1 video for each album, because honestly there is a LOT of music left for you, perfectly more than 35 hours, so you avoid getting tired and enjoy the style of each nation in the game, and with it, the style of each composer.

As a classical musician, I heavily recommend the main themes (named directly after the regions) Inazuma, Sumeru, and Fontaine, and their open-world battle themes. I really good way to react to them is through the live recordings Genshin has on their channel. I love the EDM and more modernized soundtracks by Hoyomix, but I recommend starting with the more symphonic tracks first. A little info on Genshin's soundtrack: back when Yu-Peng Chen was the main composer, most of the songs were very symphonic, which holds a place in my heart. It had a certain style. These days every track is composed by several composers and doesn't hold the same collective feel. Some are very atmospheric, baroque, or electronic. I have nothing against this. In fact in makes it exciting while exploring even more.

If you wan't to react to more of what Genshin has to offer (which I highly recommend). I think you should react to sountracks from each region separately. The main songs for each region plus the bright gems within the album. I will recommend those bright gems here: (F=Fontaine, I=Inazuma, S=Sumeru, M=Monstadt, L=Liyue are the song regions story-wise) M - Die Mittsommernacht-Fantasie. ** S - Port Ormos. * M - Symphony of Boreal Wind S - Jolts in the Forest S - For Riddles, for Wonders L - (Trio) All-Conquering Tide, Never-Ending Performance, Wrath of Monoceros Caeli F - Fontaine's Overture S - Dance of Sabzeruz. * I - Embrace of Sea Waves I - The Land of Her Serenity L - Myriad of Lights. * I - Undersea Encounters F - Lamentation et Triomphe L - Moon in One's Cup F - Pluie sur la Ville. * F - La vaguelette. * S - Gilded Runner S - Rhymes of Vales. * - Combat Beneath the Waves - inevitable conflict ** I - When the Sakura Bloom F - Ballad of Many Waters. * L - Maiden's Longing. * M - Elogia Cinerosa F - Emberfire (non-instrumental) Most of these you would find if you explore the albums. As a fan of the GI sountracks without actually playing the game, these are the OSTs that I could name off of the top of my head that are not the major, front cover songs in the albums. * are my favorites in the list You can also spend a couple hours reacting to the sountracks for each individual character trailer!

It is one my favorite games, and the proof that video games are indeed, art. When I first left the initial building, and "Instrument of Surrender" hit me at the same at those oil-painting art style, I think I truly experienced synesthesia for the first time. I could smell the sea, I felt the breeze, and I wanted to start crying. Disco Elysium got that sweet, comforting melancholy where things might not be good now, but you can "enjoy" this sadness and feel every moment of it, because eventually, you gonna be alright. It is truly a masterpiece. Please, give it a try, not only the soundtrack, but the game.

I just wanted to point out that Genshin Impact is a MASSIVE melting pot of cultures when it comes to its music since each of the regions are based on real countries and cultures, along with many genres. Chinese, Japanese, Middle Eastern/Indian, French, and general European themes and music soundscape. It also plays heavily into neo classical, rock, and EDM as well. There’s certainly a lot to react to, the over world battle themes and the boss battle themes are some of Genshins panicle songs and they’re all absolutely amazing.

Wow, this is so enjoyable to watch, specially since the music is one of the top 3 reasons I keep playing Genshin. I can't wait for you to react to the rest of the Genshin ost, specially when we start to get to the wild ones heheh.

I like all the soundtracks so much that I downloaded all of them like 1000+ and play them while driving, never get bored.

Can't wait for you to get to the other regions with their soundtracks. So many good ones! My favourite nations for music, story and characters would have to be Inazuma, Sumeru and Fontaine. Enkanomiya and The Chasm also have beautiful, haunting tracks. But yes, Mondstadt has lovely music! It gives the classic fantasy music feel, but is still unique and stands out all the same. Dawn Winery has my fave music, especially the track called "Lone Sojouner." It's warm and cozy!

You should totally review each nation individually with their according main region theme too. I just hope you'll react to some of the game character demos music. Also I hope you'll react to my favorite song of the Sumeru region "Dance of Sabzeruz". Great series btw, genshin music is really beautiful.

You should listen to the music of no more room in hell, now that game will bring some emotions, the music does a great job to bring emotions such as: desperation, fear, lonliness and the most important of all hope "no one lives forever, to freedom, to be judged" are really good hits from that game

Weekly boss OSTs are the ones standing out the most for me. It's where they try to experiment with multiple music genres mixed together you would not expect traditional Chinese music together with rock or Japanese instruments and melodies with a trap base but the outcome is amazing

Your rendition of the main theme is also soo very beautiful. I can’t wait to see your reactions to the liyue, Sumeru, desert and fontaine melodies and honor them with your own piece. I will bet money on that they will be just are pleasing to the ears as any of the ost’s on the albums.

honestly, I'm still crying over yu-peng chen's departure.... like hoyomix is a good team and they're still producing bangers, but it's just different without him...... idk. still a fan tho, regardless. thank you for the video btw!

If you listen to the "Photon of Fluctuation" you start to hear it in so many of the other songs, particularly the combat focused ones.
