_Styx Helix_ is easily one of my favorite EDs of all time. _Stay Alive_ is actually pretty sad if you get the context. It's also a character song, sung by Rie Takahashi, the main heroine of the series. _Memento_ was a surprise to me, its style reminds me of Myth & Roid, while at the same time having its own flavor. There's not much I can say that you didn't cover with _Believe in You._ Very melancholic, and wonderful.

an interesting thing about the third and fourth openings and endings, is that we don't hear them every episode, the production was so confident about the story they where telling on the second season, that they made episodes that went well over the 23 minutes mark several times, and they also bought the air time so they didn't have to have cuts in the episode for propaganda and sometimes it was all episode and they even skip the op and ed. but, something particular about the ending 3 in particular, is that we hear the song start during the episode, and the build up adds a lot, so I can't not choose ending 3 as my favourite, very powefull anime. also the reason the vocals might not have been the best in ending 2 is because it is sung by the voice actor of one of the two main protagonists.

I totally forget that they had to buy more time and iirc it took till almost the end of season 2 to see the 4th opening. I wonder if the reason rezero takes a while to release is because they have talk to the execs and get more time

It is very, very hard to top Myth and Roid... and yet Memento does. Can't wait to find out what we have in store for OPs and EDs in Re:Zero S3. Should be finding out sometime in 2024.

We have the same ranking for the EDs. I agree that it's tough to choose between 1 and 3 but 1 has more emotional significance to me and makes it take the slight edge over 3 though both as 10/10 EDs. I strongly recommend you listen to the full versions either on your own or in a video. Re:Zeros OPs and EDs are among the best music to come from anime.
