I like that you jump RIGHT into how to properly use it... instead of other videos that bombard you with all the features. Learned more from the first 4 mins of your videos than from others! Thanks, boss

That’s exactly what I am trying to do. Keep it simple and get it done! Thanks for watching.

Hi, good explanation. I have a question: Can you put the gobal lyrics into, say piano roll and have them synced with the chords properly? It will show me the chords in proper time but the lyrics are mostly all over the place

I wish there was a way to attach chords to lyrics in Studio one. I think it is the next logical thing for htem to dso. Don't know how to do it now tho.

Can you have the chord names in time? as well?
@recordmixrepeat4327 Жыл бұрын
Not in the Lyrics window... but that is a good idea that Presonus should do. They already have a chord track and merging it with the lyrics window would be great for players learning the song.

Very cool! Thanks for the helpful video. A few unsolicited, tongue-in-cheek comments: 1. You misspelled "you're" in the first line. 2. For the "Be so cold/Oh so sad" lines, why not spread them out so they start at the right spots, just like the new lines do? That way they'll be easy to remember if you ever re-record them or forget to space 'em out later. 3. I hope to God that's not how you actually sing (I'm guessing you just didn't wanna sing off the cuff for the video) 4. For the "Mistakes that I made" part, might be better to go with "Were they really all that bad?" instead of you having the final say if they were bad or not because that's really not your judgement to make, right? (This advice may seem counter-intuitive to my next point, however...) 5. If this is your approach to women, you're never gonna be happy. No begging. Women hate that and it makes you look weak. Be assertive. Even if it doesn't give you good results either; At least that way you're coming from a position of strength, which women respect more even if they don't agree. And it's a lot easier to live with yourself afterwards. How do I know this? Made the same mistakes myself!

Well... I wrote it so I get to sing it the way I want to. It is not a story about anything in my life... I just threw the words together. I have been married over 40 years to a girl I met in high school. We always have a great time together. Thanks for subscribing!

Sorry but I can't see any benefit to this. What am I missing? Studio One and Presonus need to work on their plugins. I think I saw something where they were all excited about some 7.1 delays? and some crazy Ui thing?.. Man I love their recording platform but the wasteful things they add just make my mind spin..

this might surprise you, there are more people using it than just you. If it hasnt any benefits for you, just don't use it?

If you are referring to the lyrics feature, it helps people when arranging and composing a song to remember lyrics, keep them in the song rather than a separate file/sheet of paper, allows quick changing/editing of lyrics as you're working inside S1, allows quick printing/sending/copy-pasting of lyrics, helps other engineers to know the same stuff when you pass them the Studio One song file, etc. If they add spell-check that would be another useful addition.
