Working with The Lyric Track in Studio One Version 6

OMG. I have about 40 song in studio one and since the update I've been manually cut and pasting the Lyrics in. I only got about 5 songs done but with what you showed here , man , what a time saver. Thank you for sharing

Thanks for your videos and effort you put in. Your content is a lot more informative and helpfull than many others regards the same topics. I'm very new to studio One and now a S1+ memeber. With the S1 RC-App you can see the lyrics-window on any tablet or phone. So you don't need a cabled screen in the booth. And if you're recording yourself, you can easily start and stop your record from the device. I use this feature a lot and i love it. Btw: great video. Thank you.

Ref: at 1:42 of this video you say that after you create the note data you can "say blah..." How? do I have to press record? How does it capture that word "blah" for that part? i.e., how do I actually record the word? Or are you just typing that in? Sorry... I'm stuck here

Hello Marcus, How can we ask to presonus add the function to go t the part of the lyric in the studio one remote? i've tryed this function in the app, and selecting the part of the lyrics, the song didn't go to the part. Presonus should create a macro to create markers from the lyrics or put this function in the studio one remote too.

Log into PreSonus Exchange (in the cloud tab of the browser) The very top folder is "Color Schemes" Open that folder and navigate to "Marcus Huyskens Color Scheme" and install it. Hope this helps!! Cheers, M

Lyric track? Yeah, it's a wonder how the majority of songs written these days in Pro Tools / Logic / Cubase / Ableton have managed. Oh yeah, because songwriters will just write into a text editor - not try to align their lyrics to the music in the middle of a session like some wannabe karaoke machine. ~ Clonkified via Gearsltuz.

That's your little way of seeing it, you can come up with a melody but you're missing the lyrics, a good melody can inspire you to create and divide a lyric into syllables, sometimes the heart of a song is the melody and not its lyrics, this possibility is only seen by the one who makes lyrics, also to add it to a score to have a better guide to other musicians, Cheers.
