This is cool. I saw you mention this in the HST Studio One Support Group a few days ago... I've got a song with 2 midi keyboard tracks and I wanted to convert them to audio just to get my levels up a bit... this helped immensely! Thank you...

Hey! I grew some brain cells! Hahaha... So, my issues were I was recording 2 to 3 seperate keyboard/synths at same time. Layered. I only had one main instrument track somehow playing those sounds back, but on the far left of ea track you have to select what exact instrument it is in the little box. So, I had selected the whole track in the main 'stretch' highlighted, then duplicated whole track -and then went and selected in the far left side lil box, Presence 2 or whatever. That way, ea track must be set to its own inst. . Whew. Dumb workaround. thanks bud!

It’s cool to be able to convert to audio but can you save the original midi info and instrument and just disable it?

3:35 the clipping ,it's normal,beacuse studio one fader is post and it doesn't matter how loud or quite your fader are ,when you transform to audio

Just learning this program , Can I drop a wav file that was not created on studio one; down on the time line , and separate each unwanted instrument ?
@DustyAtticStudio5 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately once you have a completed stereo wav file its done, you can not pull out any unwanted instruments. You would need isolated multi tracks to pick and choose what you want to use or discard and treat as well.

Hi Keith, I was trying to pull some of the stock loops over to tracks to build them together, the problem I’m having is that when I demo the loops down in the bottom right they sound great, then when I pull them into the track they sound nothing like the demo sound, do I need to convert these like you have done here? Thanks, I’m using studio one 4
@DustyAtticStudio5 жыл бұрын
No, they are already wav files so not sure why unless you have some treatments on the tracks or the main bus

When you transform back to midi does the original instrument re-instantiate?

how i choosing the audio file format and save the file becouse media player dont recognize the format after rendering
@DustyAtticStudio6 жыл бұрын
When you export, render a mixdown or master make sure you select file type wav 16 bit or MP3 320 then your media player will work. Make sure if you will be using it for a CD to make it 16 bit wav.

Wow. Mine wont do it. It only gives me option to render it as an audio, but not remove it. Thats grayed out like me. Ha. I only get same midi lines in the track! Ive tried it all to no avail.

Well you have stumped me, that should work flawlessly, I have no idea, maybe it would be a good question to Presonus, you can open a support ticket, I bet they will have an answer for you.
