Thank you. This is all stuff I do. I would recommend people compare what they're mastering to the final master of another artist's song to see how things sound in relation to what you're trying to achieve. Does it have too much or too little bass? Where are vocals in the mix by comparison? Is there enough or too much high end? It's just nice to see where things sit in regard to someone or some other group that's done well with their song. One can do this in the mix too, but comparing the final copy is a good idea.
