I thought house paint wasn’t archival so shouldn’t be used in work that’s going to be sold?

It’s a really good point. I think the initial goal of making art is to make art - not necessarily to sell it. If it does sell, the collector is made aware of the materials and its quality. Similar with collage work, at its core it’s generally all found materials and not archival. Good food for thought tho! :) thanks for watching!
