om gosh, I've just found you on YT & enjoyed watching & learning about your art process I was researching how to set up the 8550 printer & clicked on your set up video ( very helpful thank you) but your story about Emily in this video has touched my heart &made me all emotional too. I'm so happy for her & I hope she had a wonderful 21st & enjoyed herself at the concert. HBD to you both ( even though its a bit late) 😊

Hi Justine, I’m going through your videos that i haven’t seen, when I watched this one you were saying that when you try to update your phone/ipad or android device, I know from experience & the fact that I’m on my second iPad & what basically happens is that after 5 years with an apple device it stops updating the iOS operating system, & more importantly it stops updating security updates! It’s exactly the same with MacBooks & iMacs ect, the same things apply to Android devices, my 7 year old iPad still works fine apart from being sluggish, hope this information helps you.😊

OK so I very rarely comment but I am going to. I have just found you today and subscribed :) It seems I am around the same age, and I also use affinity products ha. Anyway, I use procreate on iPad and have thought about setting up a business for years but never have due to all the comments around it not being worth it. I also produce art in procreate and produce prints from them, my own landscapes but more stylistic rather than photorealistic (your print I actually though was a real watercoler paining :)) I must say I am a beginner when it comes to actual art, however, and currently work full time. Do you think it's worth all the hard work? Can you ever see yourself making a full time income? Do you sell many of these on Etsy etc? Interested in your thoughts as your videos have really inspired me much more than the ones with thousands of views and subscribers. Either way, keep up the good work and keep making these videos, please :) Thanks and good day!

Hello and thank you very much for your comment and for subscribing. Yes my procreate artwork has become a little too realistic as my perfectionist ways have sneaked in and the amount of detail I put in as made them look more photo like which wasn’t the plan to be honest. I’m working on a new one now and I’m always reminding myself to forget the fine detail. As for how it works as a business, my website rarely produces sales, but I’m not an expert and that might be the issue there. Etsy, well I get sales in spurts on there, nothing for ages and then a few trickle in at once so again not enough for it to be a full time thing. Getting my products out into the public domain on my trailer however, which I did before setting up my channel unfortunately, worked very well. My coasters etc sell well when seen in real life, they are so vibrant. However the trailer could only be open through April-sept so again not a huge fortune. It will be interesting to see how things go now I’m in the market because of course I will be here all year now, all being well so I’ll keep you posted :-)
