Your still lifes are necessarily still, but they're brilliantly lively in color and composition. And, as always, the line work is exquisite. They're a joy to explore. I've recently fallen for rock outcrops and road cuts, trying to express the stories in the rocks in ink and watercolor, combining my love for geology and painting, while keeping in mind all I've learned from watching your channel. The colors are gorgeous! I like that you talk about trying other styles and subjects. I sometimes feel that i should concentrate on something until I've conquered it, only to see something else I want to try. So I just enjoy my journey. Would you consider doing a single fruit in a simple line and wash? Your work and approach are always educational. Thank for being on KZbin.

No, it’s a beautiful red admiral butterfly, they tend to wake up from dormancy on warm autumn and winter days here in the UK😊
