SUMMER WARS
Kenji, a math whiz but a normal high school boy, faces a world crisis which broke out in a virtual city called "OZ".
Natsuki, the girl of his dreams, and her relatives living in the countryside of Nagano Prefecture help him.
The film is full of exciting action and human drama, depicting two very different motifs: the world of the Internet and life of a big family in rural Japan.

I think it's just the difference in time. Like saying assassination classroom hasn't been talked about for years, it doesn't mean it's a bad anime. I'm pretty sure that assassination classroom was being talked about when it's still in that season. ( this is just a paraphrase from someone on the internet that told me this )

So, without context, the trailer switches from comedic "I pretend to be a boyfriend" to "I must save the world via cyperspace" xD (Ok, the movie does it also, but at least they are building up in the movie^^') Also: Great movie! Fantastic! One of the best anime-movies ever made! GREAT recommendation!

When I look at the movie poster, I thought it's like a family movie, about gadget obsessed kids 💻🎮🖱️, their parents forcing them take a trip to country to avoid tech world and start face the real world😂, eating contest, track and field 🏃🏻‍♂️ like a carnival theme or something When I watched the whole movie, 😦 I never thought of..... Actual war, cyber hack terrorized the whole system 😈🎮🚦🚗🚧🚋🚢🎢🏟️😨 Even a bomb that gonna hit Japan or a military rocket looking, better if I called it a bomb 😅☄️💣 Anyway, best movie ever ❤❤❤

Lol so much better actually. This trailer doesn't even remotely show what the movie is about. But I can also see what you say because the director of this directed the 2000 Digimon movie

@@Alexanderthegreat159 I mean I've seen both, and not only are the plots very similar but there are even some shot-for-shot homages to Digimon in Summer Wars. It's not just "oh they had the same director" energy, and the animation style is practically identical between the two.
