I'm sorry about all of the hindsight merchants.. tbh all of the explaining wasn't necessary at all, because nothing about sanji's strength at this point even has anything to do with "the stuff you'll get later". He's just abnormally strong, which is why ppl in the show are also shocked. The part with the pearl man was just bc Zeff was held captive lol. Spoiler (upto 1k episode) How is sanji strength not directly related to his genes and haki? I starting to think one piece fans just don't pay attention to the story. in a world where following your ambition (haki directly translates to ambition) can change your freakin face height and entire body etc, Haki making a already inhumanly strong character stronger is not crazy lmao.

The scientists in his backstory say it clearly, he was "unfortunately" a regular human being. His genes only activated once he wore the suit in Wano.

His lore is revealed literally hundreds of episodes later, and it is absolutely not necessary for ppl to allude to that at this point in time. It's enough to think that he's just a strong person like Luffy and Zoro is. And when the time comes, that's when they'll realize for themselves like the rest of us did.

@@xandex69 At this point Usopp is cleary the least interesting member of the crew, he had the weakest backstory and he's a coward, but he's supposed to be like this because his dream is to be a brave warrior, they will likely appreciate him in the future with the evolution of the character This ark is the first time when we see a cool Usopp, he's scared to death and he's not very strong but finds the courage to fight and do his part in the battle and with a mix of brain and ability wins, and in fact they liked him in this ark

15:40 DUDE I forgot about this goated quote. I just love how Luffy knows that he can't make it out there alone, and he isn't ashamed to admit it. He knows he needs help from his crewmates, and in turn, he wants to do what he can to help them in return. And the best part is he sees through people's facades and their true desires, and waits until they say it for themselves before helping them. He's not the brightest character no, but he is very emotionally intelligent and witty. This is his best attribute!

I am new to your channel, and i am sad to hear that. Personally, I would let the people enjoy the show and make assumptions and draw early conclusions because that's what we did too back in the day. One of the biggest One Piece creators Tekking101 used to have a review on the scene where Nami "kills" Usopp, and it was believed at the time that she did it. Let them enjoy the jurney and dont break their joy, we all hated one character, and in the end, they were good. There are tons of them in One Piece. Let them live the moment and dont spoil anything. 🙏

To be honest, the critiques in the comments last episode are uncalled for. My friend and I are rewatching One Piece together, and each time something a bit weird or not logical happens, we point it out and make jokes about it. It's normal to find flaws or things that are weird sometimes, because it's an anime and not the real world, and it's normal for you guys to point things out when you see them. As long as you enjoy the show even with these little flaws, that's what's important. One Piece physics are often overlooked for comedic relief, but once you understand that you just laugh and don't even think of it seriously. I like that you guys make the same sort of jokes my friend and I make (ex. making fun of the villain laugh, they skipped leg day, got bad drip XD), the best part about one piece designs is that you can make some jokes (mostly when it's a character you don't like). Like someone else said, if you can find a mod to make sure you don't have spoilers, that would be the best, I just hope that people will stop spoiling and understand that you guys are at the start and know basically nothing about the world yet. Note to Canon : yes, fish have teeth XD most fish have teeth

Sorry the comments have been so critical. People just get really defensive of their favorite shows/characters but they don't think about where yall are at in the story. I can tell yall are enjoying the show. Enjoy and dislike it in your way along this journey. One of the best parts of one piece is how grand and epic the journey is and how it makes you fall in love with the crew and the characters. These people criticizing don't always realize that it takes time to understand/accept the boundaries of the one piece world power wise, resiliency wise, and physics wise.

I could be wrong, but I think there was an interview with Oda and basically, this is a story of people dreams. And their bodies are just vessels to help them embody those dreams. Obviously there’s a lot of secular components at play like devil fruits and powers, etc. But story and character growth and ambition take a front seat to “physics” I guess you can say.

Jackson, the Geks might find this comment interesting: The underwater part of the Sanji vs. Kuroobi fight was adapted poorly by Toei. Manga: When Sanji first gets hit by Kuroobi, he tries to hold in his breath but then opens his mouth and lets out some air. One other time he blows out a little bit of air. And that's it. He holds his breath in for the rest of the time. Anime: When Sanji first gets hit by Kuroobi, he instantly opens his mouth wider than in the manga and for a longer time and lets out more air. He fully opens his mouth and lets out a lot of air at least another 3 more times.

I love the one piece fights, but I know I’m biased, I started watching the show as a child, so I have so much nostalgia for this era of One Piece. As the tone has shifted over the years the way they have done fights has changed a bit. Even the storytelling changed a bit, as Oda partway through realized he wanted to expand the scope of the story, increasing the world building and antagonist’s strength. Different, but still One Piece! I’m excited to see how you guys enjoy all of the show, from its highs, to its lows. Hopefully the more…. passionate…. fans won’t make it a less enjoyable experience!

I literally had to turn off Incognito just to write this. I had it on Incognito because I'm also trying to avoid spoilers, as someone who's 400 episodes ahead. No spoilers. I like your reactions because they're honest and they're not played up. If you take issue with something or just question something, do it. A lot of One Piece fans are very naive when it comes to understanding people's opinions when they have not seen the things they have. It's a good show in the beginning, but it does get better the more time you sink into it. I had the same thoughts when I was watching it for the first time in January. Edit: It also sounds dumb to say, but I like using Chat GPT to know if I missed something by telling it what current episode I am on, to avoid spoilers. It doesn't spoil anything if you word it properly and occasionally I forget details.

Hopefully this is the last time you'll need to address the people complaining. Luckily you guys seem to still be having fun with the show despite the complaints dragging you in opposite directions. I can't remember if I had posted any of my own frustrations with takes I disagreed with in previous episodes, but at the very least I'll think twice about airing them in the future videos. Any possible complaints I might have are secondary to you all getting to enjoy the heights that this series can have, and I'd rather you get to enjoy those than react and understand things to exactly my preferences every time (besides, too many viewers have different beliefs on how they want you to react and you obviously can't please everybody). If Jackson could take y'all ripping on this show for all the years before you started it, I think the rest of us should be able to laugh and smile any time y'all are confused by something, knowing that it will make sense later, or you'll like something more later. I'll continue to smile at Cannon and Brigs figuring out the next goofy attack Luffy tries moments before they happen, and I'll continue saying "hell yeah" to Carter saying the fights are his least favorite part in the series. The fights are extremely fun, but I'm glad to see you're enjoying it for the parts that makes it more than just another shonen battle series.

The early fights in one piece are exactly that, fun and creative. As the series goes on the fights still keep that element but get a lot more structured. Y’all in for some epic things in the future 👍

Honestly i didnt start loving one piece until my second rewatch ahahaha, and from there it became my goat It hits at different moments for everybody and im excited to see when that happens for you guys!

for a og one piece fan who seen the it from 1999 and discover the manga from 2000 and experience the journey in a whole without skipping filler episodes and just let this show cook bcoz eventually all the question you have right now will be answered while adding another more question about certain mystery in the one piece world.... #LetItCook

Some people act like Oda's an omnipotent god of storytelling and he's not. He simply did not know everything that was gonna happen in the far future. He didn't even know the story was gonna be going this long. What Oda's good at is taking old or unused ideas and then fleshing them out in a way that makes it SEEM like he planned it. Which is a skill in its own right. But all those people that are like "ummm Sanji's like that for a reason" are pretty irrelevant. The point of the story is to have fun, so he probably just didn't care the logic of it all. There wasn't some grand plan when he wrote it. It was just fun. Ignore those people.

Hindsight merchants really need to chill out. Like how hard can it be to keep in mind that these guys just started the series. Of course they view it in a different light than someone who catched up. Not to mention that we perceive things differently in general. And pointing out that Sanji suffered lethal injuries(even by the standard of many battle shounen) is valid. I wouldn't bother too much with these comments, no matter what you do you won't be able to please everyone anyway. Just make sure to get the comments checked for potenial spoilers.

We know it's more fun when they genuinely did not see a plot twist coming or when they are hyped after predicting some crazy plot development. Spoiling it is just lame. Just ignore all the weird people. They're in every fandom. People just have different taste. For me I was sold on the show in episode 1. And I started to love Usopp halfway thru his arc. Ya'll are different people tho. You don't have to be the same way. Only thing I can say is that one piece humans are simply built different, so you really gotta suspend your disbelief and go with the flow.
