I'm only familiar with the work of a couple of these gents, but that's why channels like Studio Jams are so important: you get introduced to a lot of great talent you might not have been aware of previously, and you get to see them in the deep end of the pool and enjoying themselves immensely. Can I like this again? You can tell Stef just loves this song, he gets everybody playing so melodically at the end there. So great to see so many sick musicians playing through such beautiful changes together. Huge shoutouts to Joe Zawinul et al.

The Best Dominant 7 key of G Jam ever. Saw Weather Report many times in the 1970's with Jaco and Wayne and Joe Z. Saw Peppino rip some McClaughlin too. On acoustic "Visions of the Emerald Beyond" Peppino is a master guitarist & composer. Peppino used to play FUSION electric guitar in cover bands.

VERY NICE WORK!!! Love this song, heard a Basement version that was like produced and almost all head but this is good. Some really brilliant flourishs, most guitarists suck compared to their wind/keyboard counterparts but thus Stef Burns 4 parts out of 6 was great, one part in the solo that basic dead pentatonic hammering cut it, and the part before the ending was really tame, the guitar and sax could not Q&A, the acoustic Peppino guy had a really spunky chord vamp going, and OMG the King himself, had flashes of shredding brilliance which unfortunately he too often hid with his pattern repeating/shape shifting, and some really inspired fills and wailing but the sax altogether as a jazz guitarist who loves this song Great Version, Thank You

Number 30 is my favorite so far. Very different from East Coast jams, not as aggressive, yet energetic and harmonically rich. ECM-ish in openness, they can play many genres, and everyone holds back when it's not their tur. And the electrics never dominate the acoustic..
