This is a really good 'Practical' Walkthrough of this keyboard. Walkthrough and Practical are often overlooked in some of those Hollywood style polished demos, but some of the functions and features you've zoomed in on can really allow a good basis for choosing this board.... Great video Joe. Thanks.

True enough, a 'real world' user review. I bought this a few weeks after it launched to market unusually for me, without trying it out, but no regrets. 😎👍🎹💥🍻

Thanks for the kind words! I don't have the time nor budget for the Hollywood style haha - just try to go through the things I'd want to know as a real user of the gear in hand

Well done presentation. i’m a bit interested in the Numa X piano GT for a live rig. Was able to test drive one in a local shop. Lovely. 🎧 Incidentally- in the past when auditioning a keyboard some sounds may sound better in a track then when scrolling through them. I’m wondering if there’s a Lowrey organ in its bag of tricks.

Ordered a 73 key version today after extensive research here and online into the sounds and the tp110 keybed which looks good. Same sound engine as this one. This thing sounds great, need it primarily for keys, and this video explains a lot. It will be a great help, thanks!

Hi. Nice video. I'm thinking about buying a piano for gigs. My 3 options are Numa X GT88, Yamaha CP88 and Yamaha YC88. I can't test any of them. I have myself a Yamaha Clavinova CVP 505, which I love how it sounds and feels. What would you recommend me? Thank you so much in advance

Hi! I think it will depend on the type of playing you are doing and how much you want to spend - They're all great boards, the Numa is cheaper than the other two, but you get a few more detailed features with those two yamahas.

Thanks for the great overview video. By chance do you know the height of the controller(top of nobs/dials)? Have a desk drawer and want to know if it’ll fit.

why such the onboard small screen? Screen share would have been a nice option. Great basic sounds for most live gigging. Payed one in a local music shop and liked it.

You'll have to ask Studiologic! To be fair, the quality of the screen is really good (albeit mine is going in for repair) - it's bright and sharp when working properly

Do I see bars on the screen? I had the same thing as many other people.

Yes... I'm taking it up with studiologic - it's not a problem practically, but obviously looks better without them

Is there a function to change the sensivity of knobs? Don't you think you have to rotate too much?
@JRod37
@JRod37 8 ай бұрын
Hi, just double checked now and it doesn't look like you can change the sensitivity of the knob speed. Lots of ways to change the sensitivity of the keys themselves though (per key, overall and B/W balance)

@JRod37 Please would you be kind enough to tell me what headphones you have used with the Numa piano and which is he best you have tried and loudest I know nothing about headphones and I'm confused by all the specs

i use beyerdynamic dt250s most of the time, but I'm running the numa into my audio interface and into a seperate headphone amplifier (just due to how my studio is set up) - If I was just using the numa with the built in headphone output, I'd probably go for something like the beyerdynamic dt770/990 series with lower (around 80) ohm's. Typically the lower the ohm rating is the louder it will be.
