Help me decide: Studiomaster Club XS8+ or Yamaha MG10XUF? They're both relatively low cost, but to what extent is this apparent when comparing them side by side?
@soundjustlikeapro Жыл бұрын
This is tough. The Yamaha MG line has been around a long time. I worked on a few different models in college (17 Years Ago) and they were all really decent mixers. My gripe with the MG10 is that you don’t have a real Aux send to monitors where you would with the Studiomaster. If aux sends aren’t an issue for you, I’d get the Yamaha.
@ParaBellum2024 Жыл бұрын
@@soundjustlikeapro Thank you. I always send a signal to monitor. My current mixer is a Yamaha powered EMX2000, and it allows the channels to be monitored at different levels, so I can make my mic louder than someone else's in the monitor mix, for instance. It's big and heavy though, and now I have powered speakers, a smaller mixer will be easier to carry.

can you record karaoke direct onto usb?
@soundjustlikeapro2 жыл бұрын
If you can find a source that outputs USB, there’s no reason you can’t. I can’t think of anything like that, unless you’re ripping tracks off of KZbin or something.

@@soundjustlikeapro hi.... I mean if I had a laptop into channel 1 playing a karaoke track and a mic into channel 2, can the USB record the whole performance onto the USB pen drive?
@soundjustlikeapro2 жыл бұрын
@@123GEZZY it seems like that setup would be fine. You would be recording to the SD card in the P4 though. You can later put the file from the SD card wherever you want it to be.

is the amp in it ? you don't need a separate amp?
@soundjustlikeapro5 ай бұрын
Thanks for reaching out! This is a mixer that requires active speakers or an amplifier before the speakers.

Cant get my iphone to work with the bluetooth....any ideas please?
@soundjustlikeapro2 жыл бұрын
I’m sorry you’re having that problem. I’ve had my computer and my iPhone paired with this mixer with no trouble. I’ll be back at the venue where I installed this on Tuesday the 12th and I’ll see if there is any tip I can give you. I hope that isn’t too late.

@@lockyboy1944 please forgive me for not responding sooner. I don’t know that this mixer actually has Bluetooth. We hooked up a box made by Denon to get Bluetooth sound into this mixer.

Made in India..Better than made in China. There studio master 32 channel desk back in the 80s and 90s..wonder if its the same company?

I don’t know. Sounds interesting though. It’s not a bad sounding little board I’d like to hear it in a larger format. It would probably do ok.
