About that Serato vs Traktor thing, both are good, they both have their own advantages. The Q-Bert video showed that Traktor is a little bit more responsive when you really slow down the vinyl, but that wasn't a really big deal. Also Serato DJ seems to be better than Scratch Live, for exemple it deal better with jumping needle (I did a party on a boat on vinyl and on the same turntable with same needle the guy on Serato DJ had less isues than the other on Scratch Live, and none of them change the weight/antiskating setup). Also, as I use both (Traktor and Serato) for scratching, depend where I am, I see that Serato reaction is better when you scratch with the key lock on, in Traktor you can hear the lock is one more easily. But for me (I'm a Traktor user most of the time) I just put a midi shortcut on my mixer (I use the Z2) to on/off the key lock for when I want to be more technical in scratch. And to finnish, on Traktor now their is the Stems fonction, that is not available on Serato. I was about to switch to the new Pioneer mixer and go on Serato (or Rekordbox DJ) but this fonction make me stay on Traktor, as it's good for mixing, but also great for scratching with layers, or tonal elements, the Stems creator is easy to use, and it open the gate to a lot of new possibility.
