I'm a big fan of the machine designs in Horizon Zero Dawn and Horizon Forbiddden West, so I made a Tremortusk, which is a mecha mastodon for the uninitiated. In a way, this video is a spiritual successor to Howl's Moving Castle: another quadraped build with a house on its back that took over two months to complete.

I don't know about anyone else but I'd be down for a slice-of-life video where Studson films his Dollar Store trips to find cool bits, especially if the video includes Studson explaining to the confused cashier what he's planning on making.
@StudsonStudio
@StudsonStudio 2 жыл бұрын
On a dollar store visit during this project, the cashier asked if I was having an office party or something? I had a strange mix of party supplies and staplers/pencil sharpeners. I had a very difficult time explaining that it was a party just for me and what I was going to turn this mess of stuff into.

The paintjob was so satisfying to watch. Equally satisfying was the destroying of the paintjob. The weathering really brought it to life!! These videos feel like they go by so fast, and I of course mean that in the best way possible. Thanks so much for sharing! The final product is *chefs kiss* gorgeous.

I can't even begin to fathom the effort that went into this studson! You always straight up blow my mind with the creativity and hard work you put into your builds (plus editing all of this for us to watch, basically for friggin free!!). Thank you so much for doing what you do, you are truly an amazing and wonderful human and I always find comfort and enjoyment in watching your videos! One day I would love to join your patreon and further support what you do (just need to be in a better financial situation 😅). Lots of love and well wishes from New Zealand ❤️✨

I am so glad I've found this channel, this is fascinating. The editing and presentation alone are excellent, but watching you pick the perfect piece out of dollar store chaff is inexplicably impressive.

KZbin recommends me a year-old video from someone I've never heard of before in a category I've never watched? And it was absolutely amazing? Everytime I thought it was finished it kept going with more awesomeness? When the AI moves to take over the world I, for one, will greet them with open (greebly covered) arms.

I had just gotten back from the Dollar Store with some of those very kits for bashing when this video dropped! 😄 I have never played this game but the look is really cool and as always, it's amazing to watch Studson take a pile o'junk and create an amazing scene.

23:18 I can tell you why that sponge is tough! that specific shape sponge is almost certainly used in ceramics, we use sponges that size and shape when throwing pots on the wheel. those sponges have to withstand a LOT of friction, so they have to be tough and long lasting! :D
