There are 2 options for you; 1 is the Two year Masters with work placements (take a look on the website www.cardiffmet.ac.uk/international/study/applying/Pages/Two%20Year%20Masters.aspx) and the 2nd option is as you have stated for the PSW. Hi Reshma, thanks for getting in touch. If you studied your English +2 in India, then 76% should be enough to not have to take an IELTS test. Maybe it was missed by the Admissions Team? Hi there, thanks for getting in touch - and congratulations on your offer! For most courses at Cardiff Met, an overall IELTS of 6.0, with 5.5+ in all 4 elements if the score you would need. There are only a small number of courses which require a 6.5 score. If you let me know the course you have applied for, I can confirm 100%! For you visa, as long as you meet the course requirements for your English, you will have no problem with the visa. Some universities may accept your High School Certificate if you had high scores in English, but if you are planning to join year 3 of a BSc, most universities would request an IELTS or equivalent test. Thanks, Jack

Hi Gulzaib, there is no age limit or study gap limit for applying for this course. You would just need to include your CV with your application, so that we can see what you have been doing since completing your studies. However as you are applying for a Postgraduate Course, the university may be able to allow you to take a more accessible test such as the Oxford International English Test, which is online, and a lower cost. You can browse university department websites to find academics who specialise in the area you would like to research.
