Honestly I think RightTrack is a psychological game the insurance plays with people. First of all it is a 90 day program. Habits are formed in 90 days. What they try to accomplish has nothing to do with monitoring your driving (unless you are really aggressive, but then you wouldn’t sign up for it). Their intend is for you to slow down, think more about how you drive etc, so you might not get a “hard breaking” on your record. Over the course of 90 days they have created a new habit in you, which results in a slightly safer driver. It’s not to track, but to change your behavior. That is why at about 60 days in, your projected discount goes down, while your driving did not change. You get frustrated, and change your driving behavior even more.

That is so wrong. When will the people say enough. It’s intrusive and soon all insurance companies will force you to use it. And see how your rates go up all from the way you drive. Big brother control. Not good at all

Not being in proper control of a motor vehicle is an offence in the UK (and probably the US) - committed each time the driver is in motion without either hand on the wheel.

Is like everything else in today's society, the only ones that use this is the good drivers! the bad ones could care less, and most drive without insurance. Again you the good driver gets penalize for doing what you are supposed to do in the first place. You know they don't tell you a lot of very important details about the use of these apps but they all do the same. If you go over the estimated annual mileage declared your premium will increase, and that is just one of the parameters they will use to collect more bucks from all of us the good drivers, in the mean time you get hit by a non-insured driver and you still have to pay your deductible. Screen your policy because every 6 months your premium will increase and the coverage will change! if you have an accident and you are found at fault your premium will go up forever even after you pay for the damages to your insurance company. You will not see your premium go down forever. Now they want you to use this apps and last time I did they sent me a check but turns out the app screwed up and I ended up having to pay back half of what they sent me, and on top of that I had to pay my deductible because the lady who rear ended me, because she was in a hurry to go buy some freaking bread, was un insured as in no insurance! Fok all these insurance thieves! Remember you are in good hands alright!

I just signed up with Allstate Drivewise and got a $63 reward right off the bat :) I've been using the app for about a month now keeping hard braking and speeding in-check.. I believe it's actually making me be a better driver driving my Chevy truck..

This report is very timely for me, because just last night I posted my angst about the invasion of privacy these auto insurance apps represent: m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10157180686580822&id=580120821. Anyway, one point I made that none of you mentioned is the potential for domestic abusers to use these apps to abusively control a loved one. These apps are a stalker's DREAM come true! Best wishes, & thanks for these reports!

True. Not to mention she had both hands off the wheel a couple times or more.

First of all, it’s not technologically possible to know if someone’s a passenger or a driver, determining if someone is a good or bad driver from gps isn’t possible either. hard braking could be avoiding an accident or debris. people like you are the reason why dictatorships exist. People like you are the reason why younger generations never learn from history. You where given a 4th amendment and you chose to throw it away. “Govern me harder daddy 💦🤪”

I guess I know what new truck I won’t be signing my life away on. Snitches rust in car lots.
