I would like to add and what is missing, but over all this is a good lesson. Now to give an overview of the whole book of Acts written by Luke. It started with the 12 disciples by continuing the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ from the 4 gospels. At chapter 2 of Acts, the 12 started the miracles, signs and wonders speaking in tongues, raising of the dead etc. This is during the Pentecost that's why a lot of pentecostal church thought the church for today started here. Most Baptist brethren as well thought the church for today started here. The church that started there belongs to the Jews. That's their program and that's their church, not for ours today because we are Gentiles if you are not from israel. In chapter 9 Saul who persecutes the Christians earlier happens to met Christ in his mission and on the road to Damascus. A voice from heaven asked Paul why he persecutes Him. Paul said who are you? Lord? The voice replied and said I am Jesus that you persecutes. He said it will be hard for you to kick against the pricks, or you can't last fighting with a person in authority. Paul asked what the Lord wants for him to do? The lord told him that he will have a mission or something for him to do. Saul then became Paul. Saul is a Hebrew name and Paul is a gentile name. Paul then became an apostle to the gentiles but the program was still Jewish. The gentiles were grafted to the Jewish program about the old covenant to new covenant. Still before Paul went to the gentiles he will go first to the jews and preach. Jew first before gentiles because they were the chosen ones. The first gentile under the Jewish program was Cornelius the Roman centurion and leader of the band was converted by Peter in acts 15 but it was Paul who continued to preach to the gentiles up to acts 28:27 still to the jew first. But in verse 28 Paul said " Be it known therefore unto you (to the jews) that the salvation of the lord will now be sent to the gentiles and they will hear it" . Not only the salvation but also the kingdom of God. After 2 years in his hired house that started in 64AD until 66AD he wrote the books of ephesians, philippians, colossians, and Titus then after his house arrest or exile and became free he wrote to timothy and philemon these were his personal letters. Lastly when he was back again to prison he wrote the 2nd letter to Timothy his very last before he died. This letter was around 68AD. These 7 books of Paul were addressed primarily to the gentiles church in the Mystery or secret that was hid in God and kept it secret through generations of men not even Abraham, Moses King David, the judges, the prophets and the 12 disciples or apostles knows about this, only revealed to Paul and his disciples and apostles after acts 28:28 and in his preaching there was no more jew and gentiles or just one twain new man, jew and gentiles in the Mystery program. Only gentiles became active the jews rejected it. Israel became "lo ammi" or not God's people anymore when they were rejected as a nation by God in verse 28 of chapter 28 of acts, then in 70AD the temple was destroyed and the jews scattered because God was not with them up to this time in the grace period. Their program was interrupted for nearly 2000 years now. After the grace period or when the church of the Mystery for heavenly destination started at the appearing in glory with Christ, then the start of the tribulation will happen. Their program will come back again. After the total years of 21 years of tribulation of which 7 years will be the hardest and the last 3.5 years will be the most painful time then the lord will return. We as gentiles will be affected economically. This is now the start of his 2nd coming and the saints of israel will meet up the Lord in the clouds or air for Christ to come down to earth and rule the 12 tribes of Israel with rod of iron including the gentiles in his 1000 years reign here on earth. Satan will be bound to the bottomless pit for 1000 years also by an angel. Then he will let loose for a short season to do his final mission. He will then be thrown to the lake of fire with his fallen angels and with the false Christ including the false prophets after this the judgment on the Great white thrown of the unjust and wicked ones they will be thrown as well in the lake of fire. Then the new heaven and new earth mentioned in revelation chapter 21. The new Jerusalem or the holy city with foundation which Abraham was hoping and looking for will be the place for the Israelite. This was the promise of Jesus our Lord to the 12 disciples that in his Father's house there are many mansions he said. I will go back up there to prepare a place for you. This is it. This new Jerusalem will be brought down by God to the new earth which is also the paradise. This holy city will discend from heaven made by God from above for Jacob's people. I hope that this gives you at least a complete idea about the book of acts and the plan of God for jew and gentile people. The church of today was entirely different from the Jewish church and program. If you guys have questions feel free to reply here or my messenger Armando Mercado at Dasmarinas, Cavite Philippines. God speed🙏😇
