I love that after I listen to the lesson things will continue to pop up in my mind all day. Just because I am finished listening doesn’t mean my learning has stopped.

What a beautiful ending to the first book of Samuel! It’s heartwarming to know through the backslides and the dry seasons, David comes back around to where he knows he belongs 💜 gosh i feel so lifted up tonight! There is hope for everyone 🥳 I often worry about how Jesus feels about me. Every day I thank him for my sobriety and my life, and apologize for not having the strength yet to put down nicotine. I apologize and then do it again the next day. I often wonder “Should I stop apologizing until I truly put it down? I bet Jesus is sooooo tired of hearing me apologize like a child every day” I thank him for doing his part to help me and know I need to do my part, too. What do you think, should I keep apologizing? Because I do honestly feel bad for him. Jesus is like my best friend these days so it hurts me to think I’m upsetting him 😕 PS!!!!!! 31:54 made me almost jump out of my skin! My last name is Hightower and hearing you say God is our Hightower, almost made me cry 🥹 For no reason at all I have always thought my last name was weird/strange. Plus there is some outdated bad blood in my family’s Hightower side. But now I couldn’t be more PROUD to be a Hightower!!!! 🤩🥹🥳💜 My apologies for such a late comment. My new work schedule is all over the place! I was having trouble sleeping so I thought Bible study would help. I’m so glad I did! See you tomorrow, Kanoe 🎉 Many blessings to you and your family

He is never ever sick of you. Your voice is the sweetest thing to his ears. It would break his heart only if you stopped talking to him. ❤️

My greatest challenge here has been keeping up with your videos due to all the side conversations the Holy Spirit and I have been having. 😆 I go down these paths with you, then he leads me off somewhere else for a little while. I'm trying to at least keep up with the reading even if I have to lag a bit on your videos, but your videos have been an instrumental part of the conversation helping to point things out or refocus my eye on something in the first place. So here I am, happily days behind again and curious to see what else he's going to say. And a little tired because we've had some late nights on these explorations.

I have followed the whole book of 1 Samuel with you and copied some of your notes into my Bible as well. I just wanna say thank you for making these videos, they have been helpful for more clarity and understanding after I read a chapter. I really like how you use examples and compare what is read to our current lives. I am excited to follow 2 Samuel with you. God bless you.

Thank you for all you do Kanoe!! Loving this study. In chapter 28 when Saul is talking to the woman who says she is seeing Samuel, you made the comment about disrupting Samuel's rest until Jesus died on the cross. I thought everyone was waiting on the rapture? Or did Jesus take the dead at that point with him and will come back for the rest??

Hi Kanoe, I think there is one minor correction that needs to be made on the last post it note summarizing Psalm 18. The verses referencing Jesus’ victory…😊

I think when listing the Psalm 1-6, 7-18, 19-27 It then went 24-82 and 43-50 which is confusing @@heartdive

Again, I ask, how is it that God says, "thou shall not kill" but then, not only does he give the order to go kill a whole bunch of people, he punishes you for showing mercy to just one of those people. I know y'all will say he was punished for being disobedient. The commandments say, "thou shall not kill...". Maybe I'm misreading or misunderstanding. Does it say or does it mean, "thou shall not kill, unless I tell you to"? How does God contradict himself? Do yall really think God, our Heavenly Father, our Divine Creator would contradict himself? I am not questioning God. I am questioning the humans that wrote, translated, edited, curated The Bible. Is it at all possible that they got it wrong? We are talking about a group of people whose true intentions were to manipulate and control the masses.
