I actually have BSS from a lesion...I'm a very visual learner, so this was helpful. Turns out I lost temperature on both sides, kind of crazy.

Hello can I ask if an individual have a T9-T10 lesion secondary to stab wound will the individual be able to walk? or will be using a walker or wheelchair? Hoping for your kind response. I am a medical student and I am confused.

Wont there be input loss through dorsal root in the same side of hemisection regarding pain and temperature input....first order neuron????

You will see Ipsilateral loss of proprioception/vibration sense and motor control at/below level of lesion and contralateral loss of pain and temperature sensation a few levels below the lesion Tip for remembering the spinothalamic tract: pain and temperature sPinoThalamic, P = Pain and T= Temperature
