It’s refreshing to see you living a different life in another country doing research and stuff. It’s like I am reading a novel and you’re the protagonist.

I know it's not an early comment, but your videos have been like a balm lately. I moved to europe to do a PhD, and I've been struggling with how people seem to have a great work life balance while I've been working 10-12 hours a day just to keep up. I also do try to relax, but watching you also put long hours of work into your phd somehow makes me feel like I'm not weird for working so much. And of course the format of the videos is so soothing, it hits the spot. It amazes me how you manage to be a youtube creator besides all that work, but you've made my (and many others') day better for it. Thanks for reading, and lots of love from another phd struggler!

Thanks so much for your kind comment, it also helps motivate me to continue making videos! work life balance is key, and I am lucky to have a PhD project that allows me to work from home to help with that balance. Good luck to your studies, we got this!

hi Ugandan , though far away from home for studies, watching this vlog and getting to see you enjoy and blend in in the country is just beautiful, you should get to try the sour fruit (kitafeli) and jack fruit while you still there also i recommend you try the local pancakes (kabalagala) and Bushera (fermented millet drink its rich in probiotics and great refreshment for the heat. ENJOY

Hi, Gin. Been contemplating on buying noise cancelling headphones too. Do you recommend that Bose or the Sony XM4?
@GinnythePoooh3 ай бұрын
never personally used the Sonys but hearing from my friend she found the Sony's to be so heavy that it gave her a headache. I have never had that problem with the Bose and I always recommend them :)
