The trick behind ratio analysis is yo find what each ratio does and why. Use imaginary numbers in the numerator and denominator and change the values to calculate ratios and then interpret what is the story behind that ratio. If you do this, you will never forget the formula or you dont even need to remember the formula. PS: im a qualified management accountant and I do this everyday as part of my job😊
