You could. You might as well roll the dice and apply, for undergraduate and/or postgraduate study.

There might be scholarships you can apply for. Especially for postgrad study there are lots of scholarships. If you work very hard in your undergrad degree you could win one. There might even be an Oxford scholarship specifically for people from your country - A wealthy person from your country might have donated money to create one.

Some serious points: If you're studying for a humanities degree, for heaven's sakes get the reading done in the vacations. Out of the Examination Decrees, choose your papers and get the reading lists off your tutor. There will be no time in term to read the "set texts". Why? Let's take three types of student: 1. The Academic. You will be wanting to read around the set texts (secondary literature), do some internet researches, develop an own stance, and hopefully still have a social life. 2. The Athlete. You will be wanting time for training, Cuppers themselves, Torpids. Summer Eights etc. And then time for a social life. 3. The Socialite. You will be wanting to attend clubs joined at Freshers' Fair, debates at the Union, make a useful list of contacts. And still write decent essays. I can't speak for science degrees but I suspect that they are more regimented anyway. And is Mathematics an Art or a Science? Ah, if only we knew, if only we knew ...
