No, it is a national exam.

Can i ask a question please ? Can i take the exam anytime i want ? Or do they have a certain schedule for you to take the exam ?

With HSPA, once you’re signed up you can schedule the test at your convenience. With CBSPD they only offer the test 4 times per year which is super inconvenient.

I just received my flash card . In addition I purchased the 8th edition on Amazon. Is that okay ?

It’s ok as long as you take your exam before June.

@thesterileguy thanks so much. I went ahead and purchased the 9th edition set. I do have the 8th edition workbook not the Manual. I think I should be okay with study materials . I have your flashcards with the 6 pack exams. I will be taking the exam before June. It's just hard trying to find where I can do my 400 hours before the exam. Their asking for facility information experience etc when I tried to apply for the exam. BY THE WAY I LOVE YOUR FLASH CARDS. SIMPLE STRAIGHT TO THE point !

I don’t see why not. Having the CRCST provisional certification can help you better get a job.

Yes that is true. First week of June will be the new test. I designed my practice tests and flashcards to be accurate with the 9th edition manual which the new test will consist of. They are also accurate for the current test as well.
