On average, how many hours per week do you think you spend on academics during the regular school year? (not around exam weeks)
@ibrahimabdalla70826 жыл бұрын
Spending 4-5 hours in afternoon . And one hour of revision before i go to school in the morning. And i had smashing grades

all the best for your exams Jake! I've never ever commented on your vids but I've been watching them since your first day in Cambridge! And I must say you've been inspiring me the whole time I was doing my degree in Cairo Egypt..so I decided to apply for both Oxford and Cambridge for my masters..and I got offers from both!! (yaaay) I'll be starting this October but guess where I'll be going? ;) Anw I hope you'll do well in your exams and I hope your vlogging (and video editing!) don't take too much of your time from your revisions! You can just post a vid of you just studying and I'll still be satisfied! haha

For 15.2 Could you also had said by reducing power consumption for processor will result in less heat production which results in better performance of the processor since heat results in resistance in conduction? Additionally, smaller cooler systems in desktops and laptops will be required to cool the processor. I am just making stuff up right now to sound smart, does it work?

I liked Jake with longer hair. Now I like Jake with his new shorter haircut. Wow! It really accentuates his high cheekbones, strong jaw line and prominent brow ridge. I enjoy these features. That warm desk lamp is a great glamour light. It will be missed. Jake is a very handsome man. Noticing these things may at first seem a bit shallow. If that is all I noticed it would be. As a being blessed with sight I can't help but appreciate what I see. I always try to look beyond the mask of one's visage toward the crags of character. A bright face borne upon a bright mind is a powerful combination, when used well. I'm glad that we got to see some of Jake's run. I feel inspired! I am eager for the double vlogs so we can get closer to real-time. If I say much more I won't be able to post via the KZbin app for iOS (it started limiting comment length). :(
@MrBlue7891009 жыл бұрын
+Perspectologist Hello again. I agree, Jake has a nice face. I immediately regret typing that, as he may see this comment, and having throngs of people objectify you must be quite unnerving. Regardless. Jake's run, hm. He previously said that we wouldn't ever see him exercise, I wonder what happened there. To be fair, one shouldn't be expected to be held to their every single word. Double-vlogs will be good, I appreciate that Jake has his own real life, and that KZbin is not the only universe he exists in, but I too want to get to real time, if only to stop the mass-confusion of where we are chronologically. Have you started writing again?
@Perspectologist9 жыл бұрын
Jake reads all the comments, or at least he did. I would hazard to suppose that he is OK with respectful admiration of his finely formed features. Personally, I think it feels nice to be occasionally objectified. It has always made me smile. Of course I don't exactly have the throngs of admirers that Jake does. I like the fact that he is comfortable with his body. There is something really awesome about less inhibited people. I think that because I had been so very repressed for so long that I now try to be more exposed (mentally and physically) and appreciate others comfortable with that. When Jake opened a vlog with a closeup of his package I thought that was a powerfully cool thing! The counterbalance between confidence and vulnerability is a grand artistic theme for me. That is something I sometimes explore in my comments as I try to be less inhibited. In my physical life I have participated in a large scale nude photographic installation in support of youth art education. It was an awesome experience to be a part of a work of art in that way. I don't know that I fully understood Jake's previous comments about choosing not to show himself exercising. I wasn't sure what he would have been concerned about as he doesn't seem to be the shy sort. He may have been concerned that some fitness aficionados would offer unwanted form critique, or he may have been concerned about his level of fitness at the time. I don't know. I just find it inspirational when other people share their fitness experience. It helps motivate me to push myself more. My favorite fitness video was of a Calvin Klein underwear model working out in his underwear to a groovy dance beat. That was deeply inspirational! I don't exactly expect that from Jake (though I certainly wouldn't complain if it happened). ;) I think he looked good running. That is something I need to do more. I hope he shows more running in future vlogs. I have a lot of ideas for writing that slosh around in my mind, but most are never birthed into a sharable form. I want to blog about some of my favorite people on KZbin. I also want to write about music and video art. My Twitter (@Perspectologist) has a link to my, still stagnant, blog. Most of my present writing is here and on a few other vlogs of people that I have become fond of.

I'm from Saudi Arabia and I'm watching all your videos because I'm living in the same situations where I'm studying 5 different courses(fields) in EE at the same time ( *MicroElectronics* - Sedra -, *digital&analog communication systems* - Lathi -, *electric energy machines* - Sen -, *Advanced Eng. Math* - Zill -, *Electromagnetics* - Hayt - ) The big(HUGE) difference is that: In my univ. we're supposed to read and FULLY understand *everything* in the *book* including *ALL* the problems of each chapter to get high grades. *Unfortunately*, sometimes they even bring questions we never saw in our life. And that's Why I believe in Aliens. :) Don't worry about your exams, " *Stop* wishing& *Start* reviewing" :)
