In my A-Levels, studying the material wasn't the problem. I *HATED* when I couldn't get an answer to a past paper question. It was just so demotivating and stressful, especially before exams.

You got it so right - if you've got a job, the grade you get does not matter. Experience at work will trump any grades you get anyway. A better grade sometimes helps you get that job, but the main thing is that you can practice the theory in the real world in your job.

This video nicely sumarizes why I probably keep watching your vlogs and why they're so interesting to me - as far as time management and self control are concerned, you seem to be my perfect opposite, capable of perfect planning and then going with that plan - that's something I was never able to do, not even in the uni the day before any exam. So, you have my envy. :)

My policy is to ignore trolls and encourage others to do the same. Their malformed minds aren't worthy of our time or attention. I really liked Jake's mind-set before his first exam. Once one has prepared as well as possible it probably isn't constructive to be highly stressed (for most people). I enjoyed the upbeat music. :) The FaceTime with Roger was nice. I understand that sometimes he hasn't been keen on being in the vlog. I think it was very cool of him to do this, especially during exams. It was neat to see the post-exam review of the questions. It is interesting to me that they let students take the exam questions with them. It is nice that they can do a more comprehensive exam post-mortem with the questions in hand. The time lapse out the window was great. It was cool to see the lights come on as well as the interesting blue reflection from the interior. It was good to hear about Jake's rational about balancing sleep vs studying.

Watching this during my exam week in between semesters, though not nearly as stressful as this considering I've still got uni to go through, starting in 2 years, but yeah. Seeing your vlogs always makes me want to be productive and work hard (as I'm doing work now) so that I can hopefully go on to attend Cambridge one day!

i'm quite nervous my finals is in two weeks before i finally can study abroad to take my double degree, this is so far the biggest deal of my life, going to study abroad and live outside the country i'm so excited.

3:15 when he says not great. Damn it really hurt me. Looks like a nice guy working his ass off to first get into Cambridge, then working hard to survive the pressure there. I did civil engineering in NIT jalandhar, India which is also quite difficult to get into. Surely not as much as Cambridge, but we had to give 2 exams per day and the pressure of not doing well really made me feel bad.

+Ada Wong I thought that was normal O.o The exam is finished and the college won't use the same exam questions again that year, if someone failed or delayed his exam due to maybe conflicting exam times then they will take a different exam.

The entry requirements for a postgraduate degree are typically a high 2:1 or a 1st (for Cambridge, typically "at least" a 1st).
