thankyou, enjoyed your alla prima session, some good tips. J. W. Waterhouse is one of my favourites. A good book on his work by Peter Trippi is available from Phaidon Press, well illustrated. Seems amazing to me that in 1950 ,Ophelia one of his masterpieces was sold for £50.only, by 2000 it had sold for £1.6 million,which relative to Popart and other cartoon quality works still seems good value.
