Pros: 1) "Liquor Ban" is the main cause to reduce the criminal rate know as Jungle Raj in Bihar. 2) "Mid-day meal" and "Scholarship" is second cause to increase the rate of literacy. 3) "Ujjawala Yojana" is the main fact to understand the problem of women and gives them little empowerment. 4) "Har Ghar Bijli Yojana" is the another fact that is lighting the home and brighten the future of Bihar. 5) "Gram Sadak Yojana" is helping the people to connecting with new resources. Cons: 1) The main reason to make the Bihar to Bimaru is going to facing the problem of flood. 2) Services and teaching are not updating. They are low in advancement. 3) There is no any government buses service to connect each and every people to other. In Rural area people are facing the problem of Transportation. 4) Not updating the Police by advance weapons and vehicles. The first thing I want to say that we show too much pride in our history. Yes, Bihar was the cradle of ancient civilization, but it was in ancient history. Why don't we talk about what we have achieved in modern day? Lots of Bihari Talent are going to other states in search of opportunity. People are searching for good education, jobs, but there is very few industry to provide jobs. Educational institutions are nothing more than a shame. There are thousands of posts of teachers are lying vacant. And the phenomenal growth rate that Bihar has achieved is some sort of misleading. It has made rich only rich, and poor has become more poor. Agriculture sector is facing a lot of challenges. Farmers are still dependent on monsoon, there is no good system of proper irrigation. Yes, the government has taken many steps to decrease the inequality between the rich and the poor, but this is nowhere seen on ground. A very few people are aware of the government schemes, many people don't even know the name of schemes. The biggest challenge that we have to tackle is to improve the rural education and health sector and setting up industries in large numbers so that our villages become self sufficient and people don't go for other states for small jobs. We as Bihari will have to take the first step and handle the issue to develop our Bihar in an inclusive manner. There is much more thing to done on ground to really improve the situation of Bihar.

It's so unfortunate that most Biharis feel embarrassed and try to hide their nativity from people which is definitely wrong. It is not Biharis who are inferior. Small is the person who frowns upon someone because of his/her ethnicity. Bihar is a beautiful place with lovely people. Bhojpuri and Maithili are two of the most sweet-toned languages. I'm proud of being a Bihari but one thing that does bothers me the most is about our state's mentality especially the older generations. If I'm seen with a guy everyone is so quick to judge and tag me as a "characterless " person . Thankfully I have parents that do understand me well but our society truly needs to open up to things a little bit. I know judgemental people are everywhere but being born and brought in Bihar I have constantly felt being judged just caz my thinking is a little bit different from what they think is normal. Bihar should give more concentration to cultural-relgious tourism from Japan, Thailand, Combodia, SE asian nations and Myanmar. These countries can bring billions of dollars to Bihar and participate in infrastructure development like International airports, 5 star hotels, Buddhist universities, and Nalanda like institutions etc., since they are culturally related to this area. The Bihar govt should send send their delegates to all these countries, and if necessary initiate a new ministry to tap the huge potentials in billions.

I see no hope for Bihar. there is no leader in bihar politics who has that vision. Even if someone wants to join bihar politics to clean and develop bihar, he will need to get caste equation right, and after getting into office ,entertain the caste lobbying else government will fall down. State is damaged beyond repair, only solution is to divide it into 10-12 Union territories directly under centre, and apply policy with help from beaurocrates not netas of bihar. By 15-20 years it will heal.

Education in bihar is still very poor. If govt has to improve Bihar condition it has to improve its education policy. Four Things Biharis need to do on a war footing: 1) Bring your Fertility rate to 1.8 on an urgent basis. 2) Pressurise you govt to invest in Education. 3) pressurise you government to bring Employment intensive industries like Textile, Furniture, steel, cement etc. 4) Get out of sarkari Naukri mentality. In present scenario, "बिहार भारत माँ का वो कुपोषित बच्चा है जिसका खास ख्याल रखना जरूरी है।" इसलिए Central Government ko बिहार के "विशेष राज्य" के दर्जे की माँग को जल्द से जल्द स्वीकार करना चाहिए। If the government want to see India being counted in Developed nations then it is imperative to take a greater care of its under developed states.

I m from Bihar, & hv seen the transformation after 2005. It has changed a lot,but still there is very long way to go. Until & unless industries don't come to bihar, it is almost impossible to develop it & eradicate the poverty, bcz yet people have to migrate to other states in search of job, therefore bihar is unable to use its workforce in a better way. No one wants to leave his/her home state but there is no better opportunity there. So the priority of Bihar's government should be to bring industries in bihar, which will boost the per capita income of people, GDP of Bihar too

Bihar should focus on its tourism sector, specially buddhism pilgrim sites in gaya, nalanda, rajgir. Kaimur hills and valmiki national park should also be promoted for tourism. Making better expressways to connect and some recreational parks will help. IT companies and Food processing industry should be given incentive to come in bihar. The local product like makhana can be even exported so encourage people to set up makhana processing industry by giving low or no interest loan. Most important thing build world class educational institutes for engineering,medical,etc .The biggest problem is poor quality of education.
