Indian government is taking every possible way to counter drought and energy crisis, which is a tremendous work and deserve appreciation. But my concern is that a river is not just for hydro -e generation and irrigation/drinking, it also maintain a biodiversity around it, which is essential for not only human but also for all the living organism around it. So if the water of Ravi is stopped 100% in the Indian part, what will be its effect on the biodiversity and natural vegetation of lower riparian region?
