The rules pertaining to living-in relationship basically make it a forced marriage. The have to register when they start living together, register that they are separated, can go to the court for maintenance after separation, parents will be informed even though both are adults if they are below 21, can be rejected by registrar on grounds like disruption of social harmony, etc. How is this different from forcing the couple to marry?
