God bless both of them.He was such a great general , after the 1971 indo-pak war he has each and every soldier of Indian army such was his greatness. What do you mean he is not given the credit? He's the one of the three "Field Marshals" (Which is an honorory title) provided to military personnel. Which also means, he can command the army at any point of time and there is no retirement. There's a leadership school under his name in the Army institutes. Do your research. Besides, FM Sam, was never fond of credits. Hence the credit to Pak Surrender was given to Grl. Jacob and he was in the background. The credits due to him can never be satisfied by mere govt. awards.
