I live about 5 bocks from Stuff I Eat. I had lunch there for 30 days in a row, when they first opened. It helped me when I first transitioned. Hadn’t been there for years and a friend recently brought me their soul food plate plus the greens and it was fire and the portions were huge. Glad to see how they’ve evolved. Non-Vegan here. I went to Stuff I Eat a few months ago for the first time. Almost didn’t go in didn’t see any customers inside. The food is on another level. Chef Babette is the truth. I had the nut burger and it blow me away it was so good. Comes with potatoes & a salad. Generous portions. I’m definitely going back.

I used to live in L. A. and I loved her restaurant. When you all went she had other staff cooking. She actually does all the cooking now, since the pandemic. Hence, the food probably tastes super good.

That place is the bomb! Everything on the menu is good. I don't go often anymore because I can't do grains (on a low carb diet) but when I used to go, I loved the burger, the chili, the muffin, soul food plate, potatoes, salad, desserts. I see why she's been in business so long.

On your old Monty’s Goodburger video, they have a Monty’s in Riverside in Southern California as well. There’s also a vegan restaurant called, Plant Power. Plant Power is pretty good, they have a vegan Big Mac that’s pretty good.

Doomie's in Hollywood is the BEST LA vegan place and the vegan Big Mac is an off menu secret you should ask for. The carrot cake is the best ever!

My Two Cents is another Black owned restaurant in L.A. It isn't a vegan restaurant per se but they do have a vegan spicy spaghetti that is really good. Check it out!
