When I was ten we moved to the Philippines for a couple of years with the Navy (dad) and behind our little neighborhood playground was a giant hill. Most of the year it was rough and viney and treacherous. But right after the rainy season some sort of waist high on a kid, silky deep green grass would grow, and we would tramp a trail through it to the top of the slope with big cardboard boxes and absolutely FLY down on top of the grasses. Faster than any sledding I've ever done.

In college me and a little group of friends broke into the indoor pool on campus while on a bunch of mushrooms. We all got to skinny dipping and daring each other to jump from the top 25 meter platform dive while bugging out. This is so high up, even just looking up there from the deck, especially so high... I finally worked up the nerve and made the epic on shrooms climb to the top and jumped. As I was descending I saw the side door burst open and campus security entering with their flashlight beams straffing the enclosure. I splashed down and the first thought I had was that I would just hide from them staying underwater, seemed like a great idea until I considered I would have to hold my breath while a dozen tripping people found and put their clothes back on ànd had their names taken. So I surfaced to take my medicine. It was an hilarious scene, and we were all cracking up, but we got in no real trouble as we hadn't done any damage entering. I think the old security guys actually got a kick out of it, there were some pretty nice young ladies being buff, after all.

O'Connor, come to northern Canada for a trip, the freedom of being able to go everywhere that no other land vehicle can access is true freedom, you can drive across ice and water, mountains, valleys, it's honestly unlike anything else. Plus, the nice ones are all using high end sport bike engines, so you can go ridiculously quick and fast too or you can get a slower machine meant to crawl over deep snow like a Skandic superwide, which is basically the old military Humvee of snowmobiles and can go places that don't even make sense.
