I lived about ten minutes away from Northwestern in high school and let me tell you, unless you have family in the city or some pressing weekly obligation, you ain't getting into the city often. The only reason I even got into the city at all was because of church and a couple of school field trips.

theres a ton to do in the suburbs if you look for it, prior to what I thought in highschool. When I was in highschool, all my friends wanted to do was to take the cta to chicago because they thought the suburbs were for older people lol

It's a matter of choice. When I was an undergraduate there, I went into the city pretty much every weekend. It's there if you want it.

@@williamtell5365 was it expensive/difficult/time consuming to do so?
@williamtell53653 жыл бұрын
@@caseyweisman3259 No, this was years ago. I didn't have a car in college so I took the "el" or subway which isn't expensive. Having a car in Chicagoland is worthwhile though as it's much easier to get around.

Im from dublin in ireland and am 20 but woul love to go to northwestern.. Is that possible ??
@williamtell53653 жыл бұрын
Of course it's possible. Elite colleges in the U.S. typically have a good percentage of international students, but you will be held to an admissions standard that is roughly comparable to every one else. The fact you are international might make it slightly easier, but top American colleges won't take you unless you're an exceptional student or some extraordinary circumstance. So it's a question of your background and scores.

Cameron Clark instead of semesters, they separate by quarters like winter quarter, spring quarter, etc. Means more tests but smaller tests
