Could you talk about how being in the quarter system and having midterms from the 3rd week impacts stress and how stressful is it generally at northwestern?

Being on the quarter is stressful because a lot of assignments and exams tend to fall within the same week. Also, because a quarter is only 10 weeks, midterms occur about every 3 weeks so you're always on your feet and trying to stay caught up on work. Without a doubt, it is stressful, but it is also doable. Northwestern students tend to be stressed and especially during finals week, the campus is uptight and very stressful, but to be honest, students seem to have a good work-life balance, so the student body environment isn't that stressful for the most part.
