I'm actually working on making a vacuum insulated clay flower pot thermite heater. The flower pot and lid will also be lined with NightHawkinLight's Starlite approximation material so that it doesn't crack. The two pots that are nestled one within the other have been sealed with cement sealer so they are not porous and will hold a vacuum. Ceramic fiber insulation is part of the spacer material in between, but because of the way they nestle, I didn't need much, which cuts down on conductive heat loss. As to why? Mostly to convert materials into graphitic carbons. I wanted a quick, low electrical energy method. What kind of graphitic carbons. The best kind... cellulose nanocrystals--nature's wonder material. Once converted, this material will be used in composites, batteries, super caps, systems that need good thermal conductors, etc.

You should've put the thermite both in and around the foil on the thruley so the heat distributed better around the Turkey. Like an oven

Do small scale with Cornish game hens!!! Try to create a small oven and just use molten metal to heat it up so like pour all the molten metal into the oven and let it heat it up and then pour molten metal on the outside of the oven and then pack it with sand to keep the heat inside. repeat 6 or 7 times every half hour or every time the metal you just poured out is re melted. you can even use a meat thermometer inside the bird to tell that it is cooked and you can use an other one to tell how hot the oven is so you know if you need to use more or less metal and if you need to do it faster or slower.
