When i saw that dooky ass aquarium you had that fish in to begin with I already knew. Nother fish abusing weirdo and i dont wanna hear “i don’t abuse my fish!” You put your fish in different temp water (that alone could’ve killed in) inside a blender with things wired to turn the blender on (in other words, it could’ve malfunctioned and bye bye goldfish.. not to mention the fact you’re using an animal to get clout on the internet. Even ignoring that, look at your pathetic, barren fish tank and try and tell me that ain’t animal abuse. Imagine tryna live in a human equivalent. An empty, meh sized room with nothing to do or places to go, all alone. Theres no plants, didnt see a bubbler system so that water quality is likely trash, no rocks other than the fake colored substrate aaanndd thats it. Do better, fix that shit, and stop using your pets for clout. You didn’t even get 3k likes, soo worth it..

The visible part of lightning is ionized air, or plasma. A water stream can carry the electrical charge within itself, which stops it from ionizing the air. A broken water stream gives it a path to jump to an area of dissimilar charge. A charge seeks to equalize, which is why lightning branches out. You could ground your target and the base of the coil, which should provide a complete path for the charge to travel, but that won’t guarantee that you see lightning all the way to your target. It’ll help if you get close, like holding something near a Van de Graaf generator. If you interrupt the water stream at lengths approximating the distance traveled to your target, you might get interesting results. You could try using a maser array to guide the ions, but that would require complicated phasing controls. You should be aware that your lightning discharge is a radio transmitter, and subject to FCC regulations…it’s very likely your neighbors experienced severe disruption to their communications and electronic equipment, possibly even damage. It’s more economical and simpler to stick to the laser.

15:00 I am not smarter than you and I know not much about physics. but may it be, that as soon as the water-goo is "connected" to the ground - grounded, the electricity can flow through this way of the lowest resistance straight into the ground, instead of just "reaching out"(?) and reaching the water streams limit, as it does in the first seconds when operating. Sorry my english is not very good, I hope you get what I am trying to say xD

It's actually simple: * High peak-power ultrafast (not continuous wave) laser to cause a breakdown in its path (in other words; make the air conductive) * A timing circuit to fire the coil in phase to the laser repetition rate * Enjoy the lightning gun (from Quake III) Did not say it's easy - but simple 😇
