I don't want to sound like a suck-up or something but you get those pipes and tobaccos because of the high quality of your content. When I first stumbled upon your channel in search of a good tobacco review (can't remember which one, it's been a couple of years) I immediately felt that my search was over, more or less (always good to get a second opinion). The way you transmit your impressions of a tobacco, the way you structure them etc. is something that's just extremely helpful. You're my go-to channel in terms of tobacco reviews. On top of that, when you review tobaccos I'm already familiar with I almost always agree with your impression 100% or near 100%. All in all you're trustworthy, reliable, consistent in the best sense, you don't talk sh*t, you're genuine and genuinely committed and last, but not least, you have taste. i couldn’t stand it any longer - i had to see what all the/your fuss was about w/Castello pipes - so i picked up an estate, vintage Sea Rock model 15 KKK ... all i have to say is - you’re 100% right ... it is a superb pipe ... it smokes dry as a bone, and burns every blend i’ve thrown at it down to white ash ... i’m a believer now ...

+STUFFandTHINGS awesome Megaman shirt! Gorgeous pipe! I hope to get a Castello one day. May it give you years or great smokes. I got a couple of recommendations for tobacco for you. Davidoff's Scottish Mixture and Andullo from Lane. One is a Va/Oriental blend with a touch of Scotch flavoring. The other is a blend of Andullo cigar leaf, latakia and a bit of black Cavendish. It does have a topping ( vanilla and anise ), but it takes a backseat to the andullo and Latakia. Great blends, both.

I had a vintage Castello Old Antiquari KKKK, with the amber coloured stem and the jewel. Sadly, it was stolen by someone who broke into my car. I don't remember the shape number, but I have never seen it's equal again. I don't know what years they did the amber coloured stems with the jewels. I keep an eye out for it on ebay now and again, but I doubt I'll ever see it again.

Yeah we love you too brotha! Peterson's now does all the original Dunhill blends just as they were with exact tin designs and recipe but under the Peterson name, in Britain and from the black swan baccy shop online anyways. Yay!, I can still smoke Night Cap.

We like you so much because in your videos you come across a genuine,sincere, and honest which you can't find alot of these days.So you are being shown this kindness and generosity partially because you pocess qualities that alot of people don't see or experience anymore.Just keep making great content and you will have an audience for as long as you want to keep doing it.I love my castello but it's not my favorite. My favorite pipe is my J.Fox Billiard "house" pipe made by Peterson.It was my great uncle's.He got it at a James Fox store that was in an airport when he was doing alot of traveling after he got back from WW2 or it may have been around the Korean or Vietnam war.He was a career military man.He got out after 35 years.Its a short billiard but has a bowl slightly bigger,in diameter and depth,than most of the billiards I have seen in that length.It smokes Virginia's beautifully.People don't take length of the pipe as serious as they should.We are all different and the "power" of your natural draw, and the amount of air you can draw in can be completely different than the next person.There are alot of reasons like different sizes lungs, stronger or weaker diaphragm, and etc.How hard you can draw, how long you can consistently draw effects the amount of effort it takes to get the pipe lit "correctly", you have to adjust your cadence differently depending on the pipe and tobacco.Theres far more that goes into finding/picking a pipe that will give you a truly great smoke and the search for those pipes just makes the hobby that much more enjoyable.Your castello found it's place in the world and I have zero doubt that you will enjoy it thoroughly.What kind of tobacco are you thinking of dedicating this beautiful pipe to? Sorry for the rant. I have a tough time condensing what I want to say into a short message.
