This is why whenever a student raises his/her hand and then puts it down immediately, I try my damnedest to get them to say what they were trying to say, and even if their input ends up being seemingly random or even straight up wrong, before I try to correct them I first try to figure out what their thought process was that led them there instead of just dismissing it, just in the off chance that they might have a point and I’m the one who couldn’t see it. Because I’m almost sure that those who are so hesitant to speak their mind are those who once upon a time were just shut down by a parent or teacher for an idea they had, and so they go their lives never sharing their ideas, and thus their ideas are never exposed to other perspectives and never have the chance to grow or evolve; they just stay within their heads left to reify.

gosh, i swear i hate motivational talks. But this hits home hard. There's something in the way Jordan Peterson delivers his speech. You don't feel the cliche you usually see in motivational talk. You see the passion, the sincerity, the humbleness and the desire to truly help other souls to move forward in the way he delivers his speech. And the speech is not only pure emotions, it has a bunch of logic & knowledge & evidence & fact in it so that's why you are so openly both convinced & motivated by him at the same time. He pours out his heart AND his mind into the talk. I am burning myself ashes to the ground, hoping for a transformation - working for a transformation and I swear I depend a lot on his talk to fuel my continued efforts. And gosh, it's painful but I know it will be worth it in the end. Thank you, Jordan Peterson, for literally saving my soul these days.

Also, review what you write at the end of the day, don't just write things and throw it away. God bless you, Jordan! You speak words of wisdom, often referencing Christ Jesus and our Holy Bible. There is so much peace and true wisdom to be had through the Holy Spirit. The crux of all of these issues for people is the lack of God in their lives. I liken the experience to working on a car, spending years working so hard on getting the right parts, only to miss the essential driving force - the engine. We can spend our whole lives pushing around a wonderfully made cart because it is not being used for its purpose. We are empty without the Holy Spirit. "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." - Psalm 119:105 My hope is that everyone will find that peace and purpose in Christ. I pray that you will have a personal relationship with Christ soon.🙏🏼🧡💚💛🙏🏼

I have to agree with you others regarding why Peterson gets through to us, and it is that Yin/Yang, his ability to speak intelligently to both our brain and compassionately to our hearts as well. In another clip where he remarks on the loss to everyone when we lose our way, you hear the slight warble he gets because he passionately does care about every single person held back by a non existing wall we tell ourselves we can't climb. It makes me shake my head and smile to think he proves his truths just by his life. What threw him into the public eye could have made him one more taken down by other people's views of him. Instead it gave him a springboard to be able to reach out from that castle of intellectuals and offer his helping hands heart and head to the whole world. Thank you to the idiots behind the movement in universities to divide and demotivate. If life was chess, you queened the pawn that Peterson was, and he is doing the same for thousands more. It may not seem like it, but somewhere in all these clips, is his "checkmate". Or at least that is my hope. He has awoken the spiritual with the mental. Something we as a species has been struggling with from before written history.

Hi it’s me again, I’ve watched probably all of Jordan’s lectures/interviews/debates. But, I honestly think that Peterson allows God (or the universe whatever you believe) to flow through him when he speaks sometimes. He listens to his subconscious the same way a fool listens to his environment. And out of all the times Peterson has allowed god to flow through him, this was his shining moment. All in one swing Jordan laid out the blueprint to rise out of hell. The path to love is through fear, and fear guides you towards your interests. I run my own KZbin channel and I use everything I’ve learned from Jordan along with my own personal experience to help others socialize/date/flirt/be in relationships and I hit a wall recently, and I keep hitting them. I even teach people to be the fool yet I was sitting there for a week not being able to even get up because i was expecting so much of myself. But I needed to hit the wall in order to improve the way I just recently did and this video in a way helped save me. It’s easily one of the top 3 most powerful things Jordan has said in one sitting. Thank you for your efforts and I’ll be watching you grow as I attempt to myself. I subscribed
