No you don't kill the deer you want to hit them so they start running and their antlers will fall of once they hit something like a tree or a rock. But you will only get the antlers if the deer have them.

You can give meat or eggs to the pig king in exchange for gold. You can have a steady supply if you manage your meat well.

Congratulations for braving the Moon Biome in such a dangerous season! Transformed Penguls are hostile and swarm the player, quickly overwhelming them, but it seems you both managed to avoid that entirely! I realize these episodes are recorded in advance, but I have some tips that I hope you guys might find helpful. - Driftwood is used to repair your boat health! (Boat patches only fix holes, rather than restore durability.) - Moon Moths don't have a very long life cycle, but you can maintain their life by feeding them. (Like Butterflies, you can safely feed them fruits and vegetables and relevant crock pot recipes, so long as they don't have a negative health modifier, as any negative health bonus will kill them instantly. Try flowers or berries!) If maintaining Moon Moths in your inventory don't appeal to you, you can always plant them into Lune Tree saplings and try again later. - If you have no other means of reducing sanity on the Moon Biome, you can stand at the very edge of a Celestial Fissure's light aura at night (with no other light source) to reduce Sanity/Enlightenment. As long as your character is not completely submerged in darkness, you can do this without inviting attacks from Charlie. I hope you guys can successfully fight Klaus in future episodes. Watching the group coordinate against bosses is a lot of fun!

Advice: dont kill the no-eyed deer. you wont get their antlers, you'll only get those once deer with antlers walk into a tree, and THEN you can start the Claus fight.

The steering for the mast works like this: Put your mouse in the direction you want the mast, then set the heading until you get to the position you want

Keep track of the eyeless deer or they will wander of and dissapear. Ya might wanna just capture them. In the winter they grow horns used to summon a boss when used on a locked sack that appears in winter.

Honestly, it’s best to just get 5-6 antlers once you find them instead. Realistically you won’t be fighting Klaus any more than that anyways unless you are VERY committed to your world. To use just 5 antlers would take 312 days since the sack spawns only once 4 days into winter.

You don't need to kill the no eyed deer to get their antlers you hit them and run them into trees to knock them off and all the antlers work as keys for klaus

Rik, you do realize you will make the deer go extinct by killing them all? Also, any antler shape will open the sack. It belongs to Claus not Krammpus, but he will appear in the fight. Two to be exact.

There is a world regeneration system in DST so if deers go extinct another group will spawn eventually

If you want some gold, you can give monster meat to pigs, 4 monster meats makes them go crazy. Crazy pigs will each drop 2 meat and 1 pig skin when killed. and then you can give meat to pig king for more gold.

I'm not sure how other people get more gold after mining everything, but I usually prioritize flingomatics, stay above ground for the summer, and go to the desert to fish at the oasis to get trinkets. I use the trinkets to appease the Antlion but also to give to Pig King for gold! Otherwise, gold gets replenished like other boulders in the meteor fields right (albeit with RNG)?
