It actually makes sense, aside from the fact that Super Poly would appear in his nonexistent side deck. If his opponent plays Lithogasm or fusion Trish, seeing Super Poly targets would force them to make a suboptimal board that plays around Super Poly. It's an edge case, but what else is he going to play? More generic links? Waking the Dragon targets? I guess you could add an Adamancipator extra deck so a fusion trish opponent thinks you're playing that and puts up a load of monster negates.

Mhm, note how Avarice says to shuffle "all 5" into the deck. I'd check other avarice-like effects and their text before just banishing like that, since a lot of them dont require all of their targets like Pot does.
