Hearing how he had all these back problems yet in WCW in did a perfect plex on the giant. Truly one of the underrated greats of wrestling. I put respect on his name. Mr. Perfect
@jonathanturbide2232Күн бұрын
To say he's underrated is absolutely ridiculous, he's by far one of the most highly praised and highly rated wrestler of his era by both fans and other wrestlers alike, he's not underrated at all.

@jonathanturbide2232 dude chill your being way too serious if you read my post you would see I have nothing but respect for him. I only said underrated because he is not widely appreciated like other wrestlers such as stone cold, the rock, triple h, the undertaker etc. I meant no disrespect when I said that so don't take it that way

Liked Hennig on commentary, and loved Hennig as a babyface, but MAN, I wish they'd booked him better during that period. People don't look that fondly on anything other than the turn itself (which was one of the best heel-faceturns ever, imo), but just like with Warrior's WWF Championship run, I think that mostly had to do with the opponents with whom he was booked. The thing with Luger should've been better than it turned out to be, and his feud with Shawn (especially at SummerSlam) SHOULD have been one of hte best matches ever recorded...and those are really the only opponents of note during his face run AT ALL. Still love that face turn, though. Having him backing up Flair was so extra (since Heenan was his actual manager), and went on for so long, it gave every appearance of an eventual face turn having been the plan all along, even though I'm sure what they were going for was for Hennig to be Flair's WWF stand-in for Arn Anderson. Still wish we'd gotten Flair/Hall against the Mega Maniacs that night, though.
