Between the three methods, do you find that one process is better than another as far as curling? Can Velluin me sent through a laminator with parchment paper

How about hair dryer on cold setting instead of heat tool to move around alcohol?

Beautiful backgrounds. Most people I see do this technique say it will not work with anything less than 90% alcohol. I see you used 70 % and it works fine. Do you know the difference? Crafting love and hugs to you

I think the main difference is the water content. 91% alcohol has less water and will dry faster. If you're using a paper that is more absorbent than vellum, the paper fibers will break down faster. The higher water content in the alcohol Anna used may be the reason her vellum curled up.

The technique looks good with the 70% alcohol but, as many people will tell you, the vellum really does curl in a big way. As she says in the video, try taping the vellum down. Leave the vellum taped until dry. That will help keep it flatter.

Hi Anna, gorgeous ideas. Can the technique be used with "normal" paper instead of vellum, i.e. cardstock or photo paper or watercolor paper? Hugs from Germany

I've seen it done on other papers, mainly photo or glossy paper. You want a less absorbent paper (watercolor paper probably won't work well) so the inks can sit on the surface and move.
