Stunning Circular Walk around Elter Water with DJI mini 4 Pro video and stunning Lakeland Fells 2024

A 13.5 km Circular Walk, featuring DJI mini 4 Pro video, starts at Elterwater and takes in the Cathedral Cave (and a bit of scrambling), Colwith Force and Skelwith Force waterfalls along with the beautiful fells and countryside of the Langdale Valley.
Elterwater is a village in the English Lake District and the county of Cumbria. The village lies half a mile (800 m) north-west of the lake of Elter Water, from which it derives its name. Both are situated in the valley of Great Langdale.

MAKING THE FILM
I am a UK CAA & EU EASA registered UAV pilot with valid Op & Flyer ID's and my drone is a DJI mini 4 Pro, which weighs less than 250g, therefore I can fly within VLOS up to an altitude of 120m (400ft) AGL in the Open A1Category. I am allowed to fly over uninvolved people but am not allowed to fly over a congregation/crowd that cannot dispurse in the unlikely event that the drone falls out-of-control! The flight was not inside a FRZ. I was able to launch the DJI mini 4 Pro from a public road and our holiday home for the week and VLOS was maintained with, and without, the assistance of a spotter (my bruv).

Thx Buzz. I wrestled with the idea of using Atti mode as no GPS in the cave or outside even after I had climbed up higher. It was super windy and thought it too risky. Don't hav much luck usually and bumping into my bruv who stopped suddenly in front of me forcing me to step into the icy cold pool in the cave up to my knee proved it! 🤣🤣
