You probably already have it but I emailed Schmincke asking for the new catalogue of all their colours and they sent it to me free of charge and it is printed with a 5colour printer so all the colours are identical to what they look like in real life. It has swatches pigment numbers and notes like how granulating it is It is SO useful I wanted to let you know for you so tell your audience Xx love ur paintings keep it up

I did click the notification bell when I first found your wondeful channelI recently got a new phone,and it 'pings' to notify me of things so saw a notificaton for this video. So happy to see you sharing these stunning handmade paints with us again, I ordered a few after you first video back in december and was so happy that I did,and after watching this I am going to have to place another order, Such beautifully made paints and so richly pigmented. Again your brilliant pebble swatches perefect to showcsae the colours and a futher inspired idea do do the little washes too,and I love that you painted them in the handmade concertina sketchbook as well, a perfct union of paints and paper. Definitly many 'Natasha' colours in this selection of colours for sure. I have to say hats of to Trupti,Sepia is a colour I love and use a lot to mix,to tone down other colours or to also paint tonal studies too,but very few handmade paint companies get this colour right,but I have to say hands down Trupti has nailed 'Sepia' so perfectly it's the best sepia I have ever used,they are either too warm or too cool,but the one that Trupti has created so wondefully allows you to actually create warm and cool tones depending on how you dilute it as you paint,it's my go to Sepia paint now. In these I have to say I loved the 'Wisteria" I love purples and that is a stunning colour, then the 'Sanguine',and then 'Saaya' and then the 'Moss Green'. So much goes into these quality paints and you can feel that as you paint with them you really can,I love how Trupti names her colours too so evocative. It's always so inspiring to hear why you love the colours you choose and how you envisage using them in your work. I can't wait for the anouncement of the 'special project' you have created with Trupti I have an idea about it maybe... and if it is what I think it is,that will be really exciting. It's always such a plaesure to spend time with your videos and to go on your creative journey with you. (matt)

I have happily just now discovered your channel. I’m watching a few of your videos and I must say…you are so lovely! It’s wonderful to find someone who is so positive minded. Can you tell us if using other watercolor paper will give the same affect? Very important when buying watercolors.

All watercolours in my experience behave differently on different papers, so no, they wouldn't look exactly the same if you used a smooth, hot pressed paper for example rather than a textured cold pressed one. A granulating watercolour will always look more granulating the more textured the paper is.

I follow Trupti on instagram. I love her account! the paints are beautiful. Natasha I have two questions; how do you keep from getting overwhelmed by all your different and lovely watercolours and do you use all of them regularly? I have about 7 palettes and already sometimes don't know which one to use. There are so many great ones out there and I'm tempted to buy more, however I also love pencils and markers and guoache and pastels and all the other great supplies. I'm just glad lightfastness isn't important for how I make art 😅that narrows the options down a little bit.

That's a good question, Willemijn! I try to keep them organised into different palettes (some I use more often, some less) and I regularly go through my entire collection and either sell the ones I'm not really using, or pass them on to my artist friends. Actually, I do this with all my art supplies! This helps to refresh my memory of what I already own, and sometimes I 'rediscover' a colour I'd forgotten about and then it will be used more in the future. I'm a bit of a colour addict and an art supplies collector, but I also don't just want to hoard art materials for the sake of it - I want them to be used!
