Today we'll highlight the amazing Grand Seiko model SBGJ237. This modelf from Grand Seiko has the 9S86 Hi-Beat Automatic movement with GMT(second time zone) and date indicators. This stainless steel case and bracelet are masterfully finished and it has a gorgeous white/blue rotating 24 hour bezel. Blue dial with steel tone hands and markers, filled with LumiBrite for nighttime visibility. Diver rated to 200 meters.

The GMT hand is not independent, it moves with the minute hand. You do have a quickset of the hour hand/date though! A really easy-to-use GMT watch!

The GMT hand does not move independently on a GMT watch. The Hour hand is the one that can move independently based on the crown position.

Impressive watch, but after borrowing from a friend I found the bracelet clasp was curved too much, causing it to sit off the wrist. Disappointing…
